Kick off your weekend festivities on July 2 at this Independence Day celebration hosted by the City of Coachella! Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy a night filled with music, various food and drink vendors, carnival games, activities for the kids to enjoy and more in the heart of Bagdouma Park. Seal the jam-packed evening by watching a fireworks extravaganza, which starts promptly at 9 p.m.!

2 | Palm Desert Independence Day Fireworks Display
For those in Palm Desert, the city’s 70-acre Civic Center Park is hosting a Fourth of July celebration that you won’t want to miss! Bring your family, blankets and chairs to enjoy an evening filled with delicious grub and flashy fireworks. The fun will take place on July 4 from 8:30-9:30 p.m. and will include a 20-minute-long fireworks display synced to patriotic music that will be simulcast on two local radio stations. This event is completely free and is the perfect way to end your holiday!

3 | Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa’s 7th Annual Fireworks Spectacular
Join Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage in celebrating Independence Day at their 7th Annual Fireworks Spectacular! Enjoy the display that begins July 4 at 9 p.m. and watch the night brighten and glow with colors synchronized to music! This will feature live DJ entertainment starting at 7 p.m. and is a “drive-in” theme that allows families to enjoy the display from in and around their cars. Be sure to arrive early and bring your own chairs, blankets and snacks. Those who are 21 and older will be able to enter T-shirt giveaways, table game drawings and more!

On Saturday, July 3, Spotlight 29 Casino and Coachella Crossroads will be celebrating Independence Day with live music, hot-air balloon rides, food, fireworks and giveaways! Coachella Crossroads is a 50-acre outdoor entertainment complex located next to Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella that offers ample space to play and celebrate. So gather the family and join in on this Fourth of July celebration—it’s free!

Join AAP – Food Samaritans in celebrating the Fourth of July at the historic O’Donnell House in Palm Springs. This event begins at 7:30 p.m. on July 4 and attendees will enjoy a traditional Americana meal catered by the swanky Eight4Nine Restaurant’s co-owner, Willie Rhein. After dinner, a dazzling Palm Springs Fourth of July laser show will take place! This event costs $200 per person and includes cocktails, dinner, entertainment and convenient valet parking.
