Monday: Surf Break(fast)

I live on the beach and always start my week—and usually my day—surfing. On my way to work, I grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich at A Market. Chef Shelly Register is a genius!

Tuesday: The Happiest Hour

Whether it’s meeting friends, closing a deal or celebrating a new member of the Arbor Real Estate team, I love going to the Cannery on Tuesday evenings for their amazing Happy Hour. I sit upstairs at the sushi bar and enjoy fantastic food and the fun vibe.

Wednesday: Wednesday Workout

Staying healthy is important to me and my family and the new Equinox at Pacific City in Huntington Beach is a great place to do that. It’s brand-new and state-of-the-art and I like their yoga classes. They even have an ocean view. When I’m not doing yoga, I like to play basketball to stay fit and have fun.

Thursday: Duffy Date Night

One of the best date nights for me and my wife, Christy, is taking a Duffy out on a cruise. Being on the bay at night is amazing, it’s so calm and beautiful. We bring a bottle of wine with cheese and cured meats that we pick up at A Market. It’s romantic and a relaxing way to reconnect during a busy week of work in real estate.

Friday: Casual Fridays

Anyone who knows me knows how important living, working and shopping local is to me. At Arbor Real Estate, one of our biggest mantras is that we are hyperlocal. We are passionate about our community and giving back to our community in so many ways. Two of my best friends are in the apparel industry—Bob Hurley and Jeff Yokoyama. They do so much for our community and I love their designs, so I like to wear their clothes. It’s pretty much all I wear at work and at home!,

Saturday: Family Fishing

My family is very important to me and I like to spend as much time with my wife and my five kids (and grandson!) as possible. One thing we love doing on the weekends is to rent a little skiff from the Balboa Pavilion and fish in the bay. It’s a great way to have fun and to enjoy the beauty of where we live. My kids love stopping at our “secret spots” to catch some halibut and spotted bay bass.

Sunday: Take Me to Church

We have been going to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on the Peninsula forever. It’s very important to my family and gives us a sense of community. I celebrate God’s beauty every day by living here in Newport Beach. I always make the time to enjoy sunset at the beach and I love watching the sun drop behind Catalina.
