This San Diego Local Loves Trivia Night and Tequila Josie Gonzales February 5, 2018 Spread the loveDavid Pucknicki Shares His Perfect Week Photographed By: Josie Gonzales Name: David Pucknicki Credentials: Food and Beverage Manager at TWENTY/20 Monday A post shared by True North Tavern (@truenorthtavern) on Jan 19, 2018 at 2:02pm PST Mondays are typically my day off, so I love going out in the evening with friends to enjoy a cold beer and True North Tavern’s weekly trivia night! Plus, it’s a great place to watch football with $4 drink specials including Jameson and Saint Archer cans. David Pucknicki Tuesday A post shared by Lestat’s Coffee House (@lestatscoffee) on Jan 31, 2017 at 1:11pm PST I like to start my day at Lestat’s on Park. They offer one of the best house-brewed coffees in San Diego and they make a great Dirty Chai Latte—my favorite! I love the relaxing and friendly environment of the place, a great way to have your morning coffee and read a book to start the day off. Wednesday A post shared by RYAN (@ryanwhat03) on Jan 28, 2018 at 8:25pm PST The views alone at Kate Sessions Park are worth the trip. It’s gorgeous. I love heading to Kate Sessions for a great mid-week spot to hang out after work. I’ll typically throw the Frisbee and unwind after a long day on what typically is my ‘Monday.’ Thursday A post shared by EscoGelato (@escogelato) on Mar 18, 2017 at 4:17pm PDT EscoGelato is a small, off-the-beaten-path-gelato house and is always changing it up. I look forward to seeing the different and unique flavor choices every week. Their gelato is made fresh daily with high-quality ingredients so the result is a super creamy gelato full of flavor. There are so many great options like Sour Cream Brown Sugar and Horchata, along with an atmosphere that allows you to enjoy the treat there or grab a pint to take home! Friday A post shared by Rancho Valencia (@ranchovalencia) on Aug 10, 2017 at 11:37am PDT To kick off the weekend I head to The Pony Room—a fun, lively tequila bar hidden in the middle of Rancho Santa Fe. The bar features 100 varieties of tequila, alongside one of the most impressive collections of high-end wines and handcrafted cocktails. Be sure to get there early to grab a bar stool and allow their fantastic bartenders to create something unique to the style of cocktail you want. Their food is also fantastic if you want to indulge in more than just libations. Saturday A post shared by Little Italy San Diego (@littleitalysd) on Oct 7, 2017 at 10:24am PDT With over 200 tents, Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market is one of the biggest farmers’ markets in San Diego. Get there early before all of the wonderful produce sells out, then grab something to eat from the countless food vendors that also participate! Sunday After working a busy Sunday brunch at TWENTY/20, Stone Steps is the perfect place to stop on my way home down to San Diego and unwind as I generally begin my weekend. This locals’ favorite is fairly secluded and doesn’t get the weekend rush as many San Diego beaches do. The surf is legendary, but check the tides first since high tides can cover the entire beach in this area.
