How do you deliver on the promise of music, art and food? When it comes to hitting all the marks, Coachella 2017 delivers. Not only is there is a lineup of the hottest names in music like Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar, there’s also a food lineup that is the stuff of foodie dreams. Coachella has brought in some heavy-hitters. From world renowned chefs hosting the famed (and exclusive) sit-down meal experience, Outstanding in the Field, to foodie favorites, the food portion of the festival is poised for success. Read on for our top 10 recommendations.

Beer Belly

Location: Craft Beer Barn

If you’re a Coachella veteran, you know Beer Belly as the sanctuary for craft beer exclusives and the sweet and savory comfort food that pairs well with the hoppy brews. This SoCal gastropub will delight the taste buds of festival attendees with yummy food and, of course, ice cold brews. Look for the festival favorite and their creative menu in the Craft Beer Barn, where they will be serving delectable menu items like Duck Fat Fries and Grilled Cheese with bacon.

Trejo’s Tacos

Location: Craft Beer Barn

In case you didn’t know: tough guy Danny Trejo loves kale and tofu, so he opened up a taco shop that is the stuff of savory fantasies. During this year’s music fest, you can find Trejo’s Tacos in the Craft Beer Barn. The eatery has mean taco options as well as vegan dishes that pair well Majid Jordan serenading you through sunset.

Sweet COMBforts

Location: The Boardwalk | Terrace

Get ready for the sweetest little waffle you’ve ever laid your eyes on (or photographed). We love Sweet COMBforts not only for its wonderfully delicious twist on the classic liege waffle, but for it’s convenient and beautifully crafted design. The eatery takes a traditionally difficult-to-eat street food and puts it on a stick, upgrading your music, art and food festival selfie game.

Milk Box

Location: The Boardwalk | Terrace

Keep an eye out for a serving of nostalgia. Amidst the desert dust, a little bit of old-fashioned and home brewed milk tea is just what your taste buds need. They offer the creamiest milk tea with the cleanest and highest quality ingredients. Powders? Artificial sweeteners? Not a chance! Milk Box is one of the most guilt free choices you will make during the festival.

Mallow Mallow

Location: General Admission (Food South)

Traditionally, the best place to enjoy s’mores is around a campfire. At Coachella, the best way to enjoy a s’more is under the desert sunset with psychedelic beats as your soundtrack. A full sensory experience: ooey, gooey and sticky sweet, the classic dessert is the perfect solution to your late night sweet tooth.

Location: Craft Beer Barn

The classic American eatery is coming in hot to satisfy your festival/carnival snack cravings. Known as the go-to spot for fresh cocktails and delicious gourmet burgers, you can find the restaurant in the Beer Barn serving up decadent menu items that will have you exclaiming ‘Eureka!’

Location: VIP

Wolf boasts Modern Californian Cuisine created by Top Chef alum Marcel Vigneron, and has become known for dishes that tickle the senses and illicit major foodgasms. Wolf’s menu items are created with locally sourced organic ingredients and are inspired by the melting pot of cultures in Los Angeles. Their unique and creative fare will have you howling for more.

Location: The Boardwalk | Terrace

Originally from New York, MatchaBar is bringing a natural way to boost your energy with fine ground, powdered, antioxidant rich, green tea that comes in a convenient bottle. Not only delicious and healthy, but undeniably a beautiful post to add to your Insta-feed!

Tap into your inner bohemian, and try a delicious Chinese dish while wandering through epic art installations. Fat Dragon is known to SoCal locals as the spot to get Chinese comfort food, and it will be no different at Coachella. Top off your meal with one of their custom flavored fortune cookies and enjoy the views.

Juice Served Here

Location: The Boardwalk | Terrace and VIP

If you find yourself in need of some cold-pressed nourishment, visit Juice Served Here. This year’s festival will be bringing out six exclusives from the juicery including Cilantro Lime Kale Chips, Spiced Shroom Jerky and Salty Coco Pop.
