From Taco Tuesday to Thursday Night Football, Brett Lawrence’s Week Is Turning Out Brew-tifully

Monday
Mondays are supposed to be the worst day of the week, but I like to make the most of mine. Every day is dictated on how the surf is in Newport. If the waves are up, that’s my first stop.Brett Lawrence
Tuesday
Did we say Taco Tuesday? Breakfast stays light so I can attack the $2 tacos at Bear Flag for lunch, and dinner has to be Playa Mesa for some more tasty tacos and a great atmosphere.
Wednesday
We all love Wednesdays because it’s time to drink a whole bottle of wine. I usually start around noon with a light chardonnay at Lido House. Then I dive into the red wines at the best wine spot in town: SeaLegs!
Thursday
It’s College Cask Night and Thursday Night Football at Towne Park Brewery & Taproom.

Friday
It’s date day so the Mrs. and I pick a new restaurant every week. If we plan to do brunch we head to Social Costa Mesa. The Social Benedict is da bomb! Lunch is always fun at Billy’s where the Mai Tais sneak up on you.

Saturday
Common Room Roasters + Rancho Las Lomas
I usually get a surf or paddleboard in followed by a coffee and avocado toast at Common Room Roasters in Newport Beach. Then I head out to Rancho Las Lomas for beer and wine tasting.
Sunday
These are the best day-drinking and hangover days. I like to head to Cook’s Corner for burritos, live bands, and too many whiskey shots. Dinner is decided on how my body is operating, so Postmates tends to be the winner.
