Eureka! in Palm Desert is Ordonez’s favorite date night spot. “I order a bison burger and whiskey sour. They have all kinds of delicious whiskeys and bourbons.” At Kobe Japanese Steak House, Ulisky starts with a SoCal local Hazy IPA and a tuna tartar for the table. “My go-to dish would be filet mignon, which is grilled to perfection right in front of you.”

For Ulisky, Revivals is a blast to shop at! “The shop always seems to have high-quality, used products that fit nicely with my personal style. Keep an eye on their Instagram for weekend flash sales, as it is not uncommon for Revivals to run a crazy percentage off on a random Saturday.”

Bonta Restaurant & Bar, one of Ulisky’s favorites, is an Argentinian eatery run by a local husband-and-wife duo. “The husband is the chef and really pours his passion for cooking into the food; I absolutely love the chimichurri sauce.” If you’re craving a good sandwich, Ordonez recommends the El Cubano sandwich from Zobo and Meester.

Step in the Sunshine

Tahquitz Canyon has been home to the Cahuilla Indians for many years and remains one of Ulisky’s favorite hidden gems in the Coachella Valley. “This spot is not necessarily a secret, but it is very special. Take a dip in the 60-foot seasonal waterfall. Jim Morrison from The Doors did and loved it!”

Listen to the Tunes

For Ordonez, Indio’s Tack Room Tavern is a favorite when it comes to hangout spots. “Great bands perform in a very intimate venue. You need to keep up with their schedule to ensure you don’t miss the slew of amazing artists.”

Evolution of an Industry

Libra feels that cannabis opens up a whole new holistic lifestyle for some. They love “being involved in this new emerging industry and pride [themselves] in being the first open-floor concept in the valley.” “We invite all walks of life to stop by, ask questions and get a feel of modern cannabis shopping,” says Ulisky.
