Venice and Marina Del Rey are known for their relaxed, bohemian vibes as well as Silicon Beach’s “work hard, play hard” attitude. It’s fitting that these areas have the best selection of happy hours to back up the atmosphere. Here’s 7 of the neighborhood’s best places to chill and grab reasonably priced snacks and snazzy cocktails when the clock strikes 5!

1 | California Cool Venice Happy Hour

Stark’s Restaurant

Stark’s Restaurant is a quintessential Californian eatery, which includes a 360-degree seating bar—complete with a selection of creatively curated cocktails. From 4-6 p.m., Monday through Friday, happy hour highlights feature select $10 drinks, including the Starks Royale (gin, lemon, cucumber, mint and champagne), which can be deliciously paired with small bites like the Margherita flatbread. “We’re constantly changing up the offerings,” shares General Manager Graham Arnold.

Native Knowledge: Their $2 oysters are always rotating to whatever is the freshest available and are directly sourced through Santa Monica Seafood. As far as the pizza goes, the dough is made in-house with just a small touch of honey for added sweetness!
