For When it’s Late, You and Your Friends Are Hungry, and You Want Great Food

Ah, summer time. The days are longer, drinks get colder and forgetting your jacket on a night out is perfectly fine. While summer adventures will more likely than not include days at the beach, barbecues and catching perfect sunsets over the ocean, carrying the fun into the later hours is bound to happen. And more often than not, the question of where to eat will come up, and let’s face it, one can only resort to fast food eateries on those late night adventures so many times (no matter how tempting In-N-Out sounds). Below are five must try eateries in the South Bay to fuel your late night cravings and adventures.

Randy’s Donuts

For 64 years, this Los Angeles icon has continued to serve a wide variety of classic, deluxe and gourmet donuts, cookies, brownies and croissants 24/7 because we all know donuts are not just for breakfast. Known for its massive donut rooftop sculpture featured in a number of TV shows and films, Randy’s Donuts churns out multiple batches everyday to ensure you’re getting them fresh at any hour of the day or night. Their most popular items? Their iconic glazed donuts are their number one late night order, followed by their new line of gourmet candy and cereal topped donuts you’ll want to add to your Instagram feed. Randy’s Donuts is also a great LAX pitstop for those late-night-early-morning drives on the 405.

Randy’s Donuts gets packed after concerts and events at the Forum or other local venues, so expect big lines! Their drive-thru is also always open, but you’re probably going to want to come out and take a few pics anyways.

Their additional late night Thursday menu features dishes like Spicy Tuna Nachos, Chowder Fries, and Bacon Wrapped Filet.
