It works and keeps your hair healthy,” said Hayes. Leave-in conditioner helps to keep your hair detangled, and protects it from dryness. It also gives your hair that smooth and silky look everyone desires. Hayes adds, “It is important, it is necessary, leave-in conditioner will work miracles in your hair.”
Although leave-in conditioner is an essential step for personal hair care, it is equally important to have a deep conditioning treatment every once in awhile. “Always condition your hair. I’m not kidding, it works. Sometimes people wonder if it’s necessary and I just tell them that conditioning their hair is the one thing that will keep their hair healthy and give them that glossy look,” she says. Partaking in a deep conditioning treatment adds life to your hair and protects it from damage. “We offer a deep conditioning at Waylon, but we also explain how to properly carry out the process at home.”
Last, but certainly not least, is remembering to keep the integrity of the hair intact. “As a stylist, I will never do something that will push a client’s hair too far. I do not want to damage a person’s hair in exchange for achieving a certain look,” explained Hayes. Whether a client wants a specific haircut or even if they’re thinking of giving unicorn hair a try, Hayes and her team will make sure that the client leaves with beautiful, healthy hair.
