Written By: Taylor Gorski West Hollywood Al Fresco Dining

Haven’t you heard? Al fresco dining is the talk of the town. Restaurants are pivoting and ensuring the health of customers through outdoor dining experiences. Switch up your weekend plans and head to West Hollywood for an al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner experience under the warm LA sun. They say the weather is one of the best parts about living in Southern California, so take advantage as you sip your refreshing cocktail in the summer breeze.

1 | Strings of Life West Hollywood Al Fresco Dining

Located just off Melrose, SOL is a new coffee shop and eatery inspired by those in Melbourne, Australia. All-day breakfast is alone a reason to love this spot—try the “Everything Bagel” crispy potato cake with smoked salmon, cream cheese, radish arugula and dill. Lunch options are also available, which include the Tansana Bowl, Sol Burger and Bucatini Alla Summer. Dine under the yellow umbrellas to brighten up your day!

2 | Laurel Hardware West Hollywood Al Fresco Dining

Don’t let the hardware storefront keep you from entering! It’s not a plumbing and electrical store anymore, but instead a favorite neighborhood eatery. This gorgeous West Hollywood restaurant boasts a beautiful back patio area. Surrounded by trees with twinkling lights, enjoy a glass of wine paired with delectable pasta and pizza.

3 | Connie and Ted’s

For all of you seafood lovers, this is the place to be! The taste of these New England-inspired dishes like lobster, deep-fried batter-dipped cod and C&T’s famous Stuffies scream summertime. Reservations are recommended for their expansive outdoor patio seating area.

4 | A.O.C. West Hollywood Al Fresco Dining

A.O.C. shines with its small plates, wine, cocktails and heavenly desserts. This neighborhood gem feels like home, and one of the best parts about dining here is the stunning fireplace on the charming patio for those cool summer nights.

5 | E.P. and L.P.

Gorgeous views and delicious cocktails are to be expected at the E.P. and L.P. rooftop. Bar bites, such as corn cheese croquettes and curried cauliflower tacos, paired with a Where Love Lives (Mezcal, Damiana, passionfruit, guava, thai chili and lime) or Kickstart My Heart (Grey Goose vodka, watermelon, agave, lemon and rhubarb) cocktail is the perfect combination to soak in the cotton-candy sunset overlooking LA.
