Spread over 360 acres in Rancho Mirage, The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is an oasis surrounded by desert beauty with a championship golf course and views of the surrounding rugged mountains. And now, this luxury resort is more sumptuous than ever after a recent $20 million reno, which includes a refreshed lobby with an art installation of the Santa Ana Mountain Range, a new Pinz and Pints game room, a redesigned courtyard with fire pits and patio seating and a revamp of its Fireside Lounge and the hotel’s meeting rooms. Here’s an inside look at this premier golf resort in the heart of Rancho Mirage.

Play the Day Away

You won’t get bored during your stay at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa. This property has three sparkling pools for you to soak up that desert sun! Choose among the family-friendly Las Brisas pool with a 75-foot waterslide, cabanas and a cafe, the adults-only Las Hadas pool or the quiet La Paloma pool. There are also seven tennis courts and a luxury spa that’s ideal for a vacay or girlfriends’ getaway. Golfers will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding desert and mountains from the Pete Dye championship golf course, which caters to all skill levels.

Dining From Dawn ‘til Dusk

In the morning, wake up with a cup of joe at Coffee-ology, located in the resort’s newly refreshed courtyard. In the evening, the courtyard becomes a romantic spot to enjoy a glass of wine, or you can toast s’mores around a firepit with the family. Before dinner, head over to the renovated Fireside Lounge for appetizers and drinks, where you’ll find a media wall and retractable windows. Executive Chef Joel Delmond at the Italian restaurant Pinzimini serves up a superb dining experience for all.

Are You Game? Westin Mission Hills

If you love a cold brewski and good bowling, you’ll enjoy the new Pinz and Pints game room! It offers four lanes of duckpin bowling, 10 taps of local brews, brick-oven-fired eats and fun arcade games. Your kids may never want to leave…but with ice-cold beer on tap, you will probably be okay with that arrangement!
