In addition to special Father’s Day restaurant menus, we have a number of creative activities that you can ponder. The Lighthouse Bayview Café

The Lighthouse Bayview Cafe in Newport is offering a special brunch menu for Father’s Day! Chef Ryan Sumner will be cooking up delights from Salsa Verde Chicken Chilaquiles, Short Rib Hash, Prime Rib Benedict, Croissant French Toast and more. Dad deserves the best, so what better way to treat him than an exclusive brunch menu with a great view!

SOCIAL Costa Mesa

Get dad out and about this Father’s Day at SOCIAL Costa Mesa. This rustic-chic spot features a hearty brunch menu that will be sure to get dad’s taste buds going. Menu items include the Breakfast Burger, the SOCIAL Benedict and the savory Fried Chicken Sandwich. Dads will be given a complimentary Old Fashioned cocktail in honor of their special day!

Oak & Coal

Dad loves Japanese? Treat him to a unique Father’s Day dinner at Oak & Coal in Costa Mesa. The yakitori restaurant skewers bite-sized pieces of meat, seafood and vegetables on a bamboo stick and grills it over binchōtan charcoal. Menu items include a variety of chicken, pork belly, fish, beef and veggies all served with their own different and unique marinades and sauces. Father’s Day at Grasslands Meat Market in Anaheim is about to get rare! During the entire month of June, Grasslands is giving all dads a free top sirloin steak to take home with every $50 purchase. A&O Kitchen+Bar

On Father’s Day from 1-4 p.m., A&O is hosting the special barbeque grilled rack of ribs and endless beer combo for $28. The meal can be enjoyed on the patio with waterfront views and live music. For options other than ribs, A&O has a variety of dishes available from their everyday lunch/dinner menu. The menu reinforces the relaxed, family atmosphere with small plates to share and large portions of delicious food.

Newport Dunes


Set on a mile-long lagoon and nature reserve, this waterfront resort has cottages, a premier RV park, Marina, a waterfront restaurant and a complete water park. The Moe B’s Watersports Park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and would be a perfect spot for the entire family to enjoy “on the water” fun. Guests can also rent various watercrafts and bikes to enjoy in the lagoon and surrounding area.

The Bruery


What began as a home-brewing hobby turned into a full-fledged enterprise. The Bruery is a boutique craft brewery and tasting room, located here in Orange County. They specialize in barrel aged and experimental ales. Guests will find that the staff is very passionate about beer and the Tasting Room is located right next door to the Bruery—how convenient is that?

Native Knowledge: Nearly half of their beers are aged in wine or spirit barrels bringing front and center the flavors reminiscent of the Belgian countryside or classic American distillers.

This year, House of Blues will be featuring a Gospel Brunch with live gospel music from local talent. Doors open at 10 a.m. for an experience that’s fun for the whole family!
