Monday | Pinpoint Café What to Do in La Jolla

www.pinpointcafe.com

I start the week with a little caffeine boost at my favorite coffee spot in La Jolla, Pinpoint Café. The girls at the counter see me running from the shop and start my order—two espresso shots over ice. They are the best!

Tuesday | La Jolla’s Finest Training

I start my day with a different kind of boost—an endorphin boost—from a personal trainer and friend, Kandal Smith, at La Jolla’s Finest Training. She kicks my butt with a great sense of humor and a smile!

Wednesday | Juice Crafters

I’m down in the village early to run errands before I open the shop. I usually stop at Juice Crafters for a Greenest Plus #3.5 over ice; it’s fresh and light with a little kick. Plus, Juice Crafters is a local, family-owned business!

Thursday | Zoomars & Zov’s Bistro

Thursdays are when I visit my family up in Orange County. Sometimes we’ll meet at Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano for the afternoon, or have a special lunch at Zov’s Bistro in Tustin, where I grew up.

Friday | Catania

After a busy week in the shop, one of my favorite things to do is meet my husband, John, at Catania for dinner. Our favorites are the Kale Caesar, Crispy Octopus and Duck Sugo Orecchiette. Paired with a glass of wine and chocolate gelato, it’s the perfect start to the weekend.

Saturday | Javier’s

Dinner out with friends is always on the calendar. I was very excited when Javier’s opened in La Jolla, and it has become our go-to spot. It’s always a fun vibe with fresh, modern Mexican food and great margaritas!

Sunday | Bump Coffee & Whisknladle

Sundays are for enjoying the San Diego sunshine. My husband and I walk the one and a half miles from home to the village, stopping at  La Jolla Open Aire Market for a Bump Coffee. We have brunch at Whisknladle before heading back home along the water.
