We’ve been waiting months for a reason to hit the town and drink some Coronas, and now we’ve got one. But before you turn on the tube and spend your football Sundays on the couch, we’d like to introduce our favorite hotspots in LA where you can catch all the action. With beer on draft, tasty fare and plenty of flat screens for optimal viewing, you’ll quickly realize why these 14 Los Angeles sports bars are total touchdowns. Hi Tops Bar

After expanding its OG location in San Francisco down south, Hi Tops Bar has quickly become one of LA football fans’ greatest gameday obsessions. Lace up your sneakers and head over to watch the boys play on the big screens. This rustic open-air social club boasts a breezy ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating, string lights and trendy textiles. When those hankering half-time cravings hit, dive into their selection of stadium fare—might we suggest the warm soft pretzels and housemade corn dogs? Toast to each touchdown with a handcrafted drink poured over ice, each named after champion sportsmen, including the Hot Rod and the Left Arm of God.

Founded by legendary KISS singer Gene Simmons, Rock & Brews is a lively and fun sports bar in LA worthy of a rock star.

Ballast Point Long Beach

Home of crowd-favorite brews, Ballast Point Long Beach has a reputation for winning over even the most disinterested football spectators with its harborside views and salty sea breeze. Less of a bar and more of a massive taproom, it’s hard to find a worthy contender to compete with this breezy brewpub—given their 60+ beers on tap, rotating Wednesday steak specials and two-story waterfront patio. Despite the fact that Barney’s Beanery is a full-service restaurant that serves American favorites like potato skins and burgers, it is most popular among those looking to hit the town and enjoy some drinks. 3rd Base LA

You simply can’t watch a football game without digging into game-worthy food (think crispy fried wings, street tacos and fried chicken sandwiches). With that in mind, 3rd Base LA is an elevated sports hangout, serving gourmet farm-to-table bar food and refreshing, handcrafted cocktails in a lively indoor-outdoor space. If you’re feelin’ frisky, order their famous margarita tree—it’s guaranteed to get the party started.

Marina del Rey’s beloved Brennan’s ups the ante for sporting events with its dog-friendly outdoor sports court. Eat, drink and play while watching your favorite teams go head to head (literally). This vintage-style pub boasts 16 rotating taps of craft beers that pair perfectly with their “Damn Good” pizzas. And if you happen to be a Rams, Broncos or Raiders fan, you’ll feel right at home here.

Local Insight: For over 40 years, Brennan’s has hosted legendary “Turtle Races” every first and third Thursday of each month.

33 Taps

Wedged in the vibrant labyrinth of LA’s sports bar scene, wayfarers will hear the sound of cheering football fans long before they reach the breezy (and pup-friendly) streetside patios of 33 Taps. What started as a local family-owned establishment has evolved into a multi-outpost entrepreneurial voyage. If the views are what you’re after, their debut DTLA taproom is where you’ll want to be, with more than 50 75-inch flat screens and an impressive three-sided jumbotron. That’s not to undermine their sister locations, as all three boast bottomless brunch Sundays and a slew of house brews, IPAs, lagers, cocktails and more to sip on during game day.
