Calling all foodies and libation lovers alike! The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival is set to stun attendees yet again on the weekend of Nov. 14-20. With upwards of 40 tastings across the city, more than 10, 000 culinary connoisseurs are set to enjoy a week to remember. Over 200 wineries, spirits and breweries will highlight their best brews and are sure to add quite a buzz to the festival!

Guests will experience the flavors and tastes of beloved local chefs like Ironside Fish & Oyster’s Chef Jason McLeod, California Modern’s Chef Trey Foshee, Pacific Standard Coastal Kitchen’s Chef Giselle Wellman and more. The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival is slated to showcase 60 of San Diego’s most acclaimed sommeliers and chefs—giving those in attendance a fabulous week-long feast.

Celebrity Chef Rick Bayless of Red O Restaurant and Frontera Grill will be an event headliner for the festival. He will also be joined by Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster Harlem, Streetbird Rotisserie and Ginny’s Supper Club; Chef Jason French of Ned Ludd; and Dean James Max of DJM Restaurants. “The Hearty Boys, ” television stars Dan Smith and Steve McDonagh, will also be in attendance! In addition to headlining events, cooking classes and tastings will be deliciously sprinkled throughout the festival.

The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival pulled out all the stops and are bringing several new events to the experience. In line with the rise in popularity of whiskey, Marcus Samuelsson will host “In The Spirit”, a tasting of Scotch, Bourbon, Japanese, Irish, and Tennessee Whiskies and Rye. We’ll cheer to that!

Another event that has our mouths watering is the “Pizzapalooza”! San Diego’s most popular pizza chefs will participate in a tasting—and spare no topping. Tasters will get to enjoy their favorites from Sicilian to Detroit to deep dish to New York, as well as libations from San Diego’s mixologists. They then will get the chance to vote during the Battle of the Bartender competition, and end the event with the Gelato World Tour—delizioso!

Many crowd favorites are returning for the festival’s 13th year. Rick Moonen is set to host the ever popular competition that decides who truly makes the best fish taco. Expedition: Baja is also coming back—giving guests the option to explore the delicious tastes across the border and the chefs and wineries that make Baja memorable!

San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival offers various all-inclusive packages as well as the option to purchase tickets for individual events. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience the flavors of San Diego and other global locales with this incredible event!
