Laughter Yoga

Go after the laughter! Laughter Yoga offered at Balboa Park in San Diego explores the unique health benefits of laughter and why laughter should matter to you! These classes are free and are often independently run. Balboa Park hosts Laughter Yoga on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Parking on Balboa Drive is suggested.

Glow-in-the-Dark Yoga

Yoga that gets you moving, stretching, flowing, and glowing! Maha Yoga studio in Los Angeles offers a Glow-in-the-Dark yoga class. Participants practice yoga in a neon and black lit studio. Glow sticks and glow body paint will be provided, as well as fun music and a yoga party atmosphere. Simply bring your yoga mat, some water, a towel, and enjoy the evening!

If you’re a yogini who would rather namastay in her bikini, then Paddleboard Yoga at YOGAqua in Marina Del Rey, California may be for you. Inspired by a trip to Costa Rica, each class is 90 minutes long and provides a full body workout, as well as an opportunity to get some sun and be in the water. One single class is $44 and includes all equipment. Group classes are available Friday to Sunday, with private lessons hosted throughout the week. Swimsuits and quick-drying yoga clothes are encouraged.
