Monday

Our family is very health conscious, and because our son Nicky has dietary restrictions, Luscious Lorraine’s Deli & Juice Bar has always been our go-to lunch spot. It is a wonderful local grocery store for organic, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free lifestyles. You’re sure to find plenty of unique and fresh eats, vitamins, supplements, tea and household items. Our favorite is the Super Green Avo smoothie!

Tuesday

When we need a quick pick-me-up we grab a Honey Cinnamon Latte with a pump of vanilla over at IW Coffee. It is a nice, locally owned coffee shop that carries the organic, local Joshua Tree coffee. They also serve delicious baked goods, egg scrambles, bagels and sandwiches. Great décor and friendly baristas!

Wednesday

The Karl Vasquez Salon is located right next door to the Nest Restaurant so Dodi is a regular here and stops by for a mid-week mani/pedi or a quick cut and color. They’re highly recommended and offer a wide range of services. Truly an elite team of hair, nail, and skincare pros!

Thursday

The Nest Restaurant’s piano bar lounge is world famous with live music and dancing 7 nights a week! So you can often find Kevin at Guitar Center picking up new equipment or stopping by the repair center. They have intelligible customer service, great prices, and a good selection of products.

Friday

We always stop by Kitchen Kitchen before the busy weekend hits to pick up kitchen and cooking supplies. The owner, Jan, is a good friend of ours and is known throughout the Coachella Valley for being very friendly and helpful. We love supporting other locally and family owned businesses! PS: Chef Woody makes delicious bites for customers to try while they shop.

Saturday

Before heading to work, we meet up with friends and family at Il Corso for an early dinner. We love their wood oven pizza—it is arguably one of the best in town! A great place if you want authentic Italian food since Chef Mario Marfia is from Sicily. Make sure to save room for the homemade desserts.

Sunday

Wilma & Frieda’s Cafe is favorite place to go for Sunday brunch! It is a destination spot in El Paseo’s shopping center and is the perfect pit stop during a relaxing day of shopping. It can be a bit busy on the weekends so make sure to get there before the afternoon brunch rush. We recommend the Sky’s the Limit plate to share!
