The recent renovation includes new patio dining and lounge furniture, making the patio area all the more cozy and welcoming. With its large sycamore tree set among Muldoon’s Dublin Pub, Celtic Bar and Tavern Dining Room, the shade offers a welcome respite from the sun and a perfect spot to grab lunch with friends. At night, the courtyard is nothing less than magical under the stars and is the ideal space for dinner and cocktails.

2 | Seasonal Eats Muldoon’s Newport Beach
In addition to Muldoon’s classic Irish dishes, diners can also try new seasonal items on the menu, including the Trinity Dip sandwich (sliced prime rib on a freshly baked roll, creamy horseradish, Swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions) and Doon’s Brussels Sprouts appetizer (served crispy with a honey-sherry glaze, topped with shaved Pecorino and toasted hazelnuts). For a lighter option, try the Galway Market Bowl (farro and red quinoa with Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil and garlic vinaigrette, topped with arugula, avocado, tomato and cucumber dressing). There’s no better place to treat your tastebuds!

Beyond a perfectly poured pint of Guinness, Muldoon’s is introducing 11 pub-crafted cocktails that are perfect for sipping in the new courtyard. The Smoked Pecan Old-Fashioned (pecan-infused Irish whiskey, demerara syrup, black walnut and orange bitters, smoked with apple wood chips) has the wow factor, as it’s poured with smoke into your glass! You’ll also want to get your paws on the Doon’s Spritzer (cucumber mint vodka, lime, Manzanilla, St. Germaine and sparkling wine), the Peppercorn Mule (peppercorn-infused vodka, lime, strawberry, ginger beer) or the mouthwatering Spicy Sunday Margarita (jalapeño-infused tequila, lime, agave and Tajin rim).
