Here’s How to Live the “Suite” Life in Las Vegas This Spring

From Invite-Only Rooms to Decadent Dining, ARIA Resort & Casino Offers a Pretty “Suite” Experience

Thanks to the seamless and fast flight from Southern California (literally 50 minutes), Las Vegas is the ultimate destination for West Coasters seeking a quick escape. While Vegas is great for a variety of occasions, the ARIA Resort & Casino takes the cake when it comes to planning an elevated experience. The recently renovated ARIA Sky Suites  offer accommodations unlike any other, providing you with special amenities like a personalized concierge and luxury airport transportation. From where to stay and what to eat, here is the ultimate guide to planning a luxe weekend in Las Vegas—all while not having to leave the property.  Best Las Vegas Suites

Stay: ARIA Sky Suites

The ARIA Sky Suites allow guests to look out onto the stunning red rocks that surround the city from the comfort of the modern yet cozy one and two-bedroom suites. With Jacuzzi bathtubs, heated toilet seats and the most lavish of bedding, the ARIA Sky Suites allow you to experience Las Vegas at its fullest. “When renovating the Sky Suites, we decided that this was an opportunity to think about Las Vegas differently,” says Richard Riveire, founding principal of design firm Rottet Studio. “Instead of approaching it like a hotel room, we decided to think of it as more of a residence.” Though they have all of the luxurious accents that you expect to find in a Vegas hotel room, the ARIA Sky Suites provide a refined yet warm space where you can recharge between outings. “From the sweeping red rock views to the artwork, everything has been consciously curated to make the Sky Suites feel like your Las Vegas home,” explains Riveire.

Local Insight: Staying in the Sky Suites means having access to the exclusive Sky Suites Lounge, where you can enjoy complimentary bites at breakfast and wine in the afternoon.

Stay: SKYVILLAS at ARIA

The invite-only SKYVILLAS at ARIA are something straight out of a dream. Designed by KES Studio, these villas feature retro decor that is enhanced by lavish amenities fit for royalty. Located on the highest floors, the views of the city are unbeatable, and they can be appreciated from nearly every area (including the bathrooms). “I really wanted the SKYVILLAS to have the essence of the ‘70s but punctuated with a very high level of glamor and sophistication,” explains Kara Smith, founder of KES Studio. Similar to the Sky Suites, the SKYVILLAS have a very residential feel. “I want guests to feel like they’re in their own vacation penthouse…very exclusive, sexy, special but most of all, timeless,” says Smith. The artwork is completely show-stopping with one-of-a-kind headboards that look like priceless paintings and unique sculptures that set the scene.

Local Insight: SKYVILLA guests are treated to a wide array of luxurious amenities, such as a personalized bar and in-room dining options. The most unique offering, however, is the chance to chat with a cigar aficionado and explore some of the rarest and most renowned cigars in existence.

Dine: Carbone

Carbone is a timeless Italian restaurant that sets the mood with private booths hidden behind red curtains and a show-stopping chandelier in the center of the room. In addition to wine recommended by their talented sommelier, be sure to dig into the decadent beef carpaccio and famous spicy rigatoni vodka.

Stop by Salt & Ivy for a breezy brunch near the pool as you fuel up for the adventure ahead. Order a mimosa and fill up on one of their famous Dutch baby pancakes before starting your day.

Dine: Din Tai Fung

When it comes to dumplings and all things Taiwanese, it doesn’t get better than Michelin-starred Din Tai Fung. This massive restaurant is perfect for a tasty lunch of fresh xiao long bao, wontons and steamed buns. No matter how full you are, do not skip on the chocolate xiao long bao—they are out of this world!

Do: Spa Day

As the largest Forbes five-star spa in the world (80,000 square feet to be exact), The Spa at ARIA is the ultimate place to experience the more peaceful side of the city. After treating yourself to a custom massage, spend a couple of hours exploring the plunge pools and steam rooms. The warm Japanese stone beds are great for maintaining a zen-like state post-treatment, and the salt room is a unique place to read a book as you reap the respiratory benefits of Shio salt bricks. If you book a treatment in the evening, be sure to catch the sunset on the co-ed balcony while taking a dip in the infinity-edge therapy pool.

Do: Hang by the Pool

Though the main pool at the ARIA is stunning, being a Sky Suites guest gives you access to the private Sky Pool. Reserve a cabana and experience some poolside pampering as you lounge under the desert sun or sip on a refreshing cocktail. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, head to the adults-only LIQUID Pool Lounge and enjoy drinks, food and frivolity at this 16,000-square-foot day club.
