There’s no dispute—the holidays revolve around eating and drinking. And while it’s totally normal to celebrate and indulge, it’s equally as important to balance your holiday diet with wholesome foods too. So if you’re looking to avoid gaining that winter weight this season, or just stick to a healthy routine, Fresh Juice Bar is here to help! From hand-crafted, raw organic juices and green smoothies to tasty, traditional acai bowls, this healthy hotspot in Greater Palm Springs provides products packed with fiber, antioxidants and omegas. Whether you’re into bowls with organic granola or just plain organic, fresh juice, the Fresh Juice Bar menu has something for everyone this season.

Marcie Madain, owner of Fresh Juice Bar, has a 17-year background in advertising sales, helping small to medium-sized businesses become successful in marketing. “Whether it was having a love of cooking and entertaining and always serving others, be it food or hand-delivering a green smoothie to your doorstep just to give it a try, I always had a passion to give,” says Madain.

Fresh Juice Bar offers a daily cleanse in one, three or five days. It consists mainly of vegetables with some fruit that yields maximum detoxifying. You can begin your day with green tea if you like, then a green juice, and about every two hours, you drink a 16-ounce drink. You can also add in a rich nut milk that will give you some needed protein and calories to leave you feeling satisfied. Fresh Juice Bar’s Refresh Cleanse is completely organic and works to flush out the body’s toxins.

“Replacing a breakfast with a green smoothie or adding juice to our everyday rushed lives helps so much. Being a busy mom [who is] always on the go, I found that our beautiful desert did not offer anything fast and fresh to serve the busy lifestyles of most of us,” explains Madain.

Customers are able to pick up a six-pack of juices along with a green tea packet. It is recommended to drink a lot of water and to perform activities similar to yoga, such as stretching and walking. Those interested can cleanse with small meals that include salads and liquids. Fresh Juice Bar requires at least one full day of advance notice and payment at that time. “My hope is to give the gift of a good choice instead of fast, processed junk food,” says Madain.

The holidays are full of decadent desserts, plenty of wine and delicious comfort food. And while a little indulgence certainly doesn’t hurt, it is important to give your body what it needs. So whether you’re ready to start now before the eating and drinking starts or you’re looking for a cleanse to begin the new year, Fresh Juice Bar is your one-stop shop for all things healthy and nutritious.
