Beach, please! There is nothing better than soaking up some sun while eating delicious food and listening to local music. At Orange County’s first Meet On Beach multi-city event, you can do all that and more. Pass through seven different cities along Beach Blvd on November 17 to enjoy some community fun and discover that it is not just a highway, but a place to gather. Hop on a bike or put on your walking shoes for a family-fun event as you explore all of the different aspects of Beach Blvd.

1 | La Habra Meet on Beach Boulevard

Get an early start in the city of La Habra and watch CrossFit obstacle demonstrations, Team Soil’s BMX show and even participate in Zumbathon. This event is from 9 a.m. to noon, so take advantage of the free bike safety checks, learn about the New York Life Child ID program and dine from local food trucks like OC Juice and Pimp My Tacos while you can!

2 | Buena Park Meet on Beach Boulevard

Want quality entertainment? Then mosey down to Buena Park to watch performances by the Satin Dollz, Redboy Productions and The Springsteen Experience. Buena Park’s Director of Community Development Joel Rosten says, “Although Buena Park has made tremendous strides in revitalization…of Beach Blvd, there are still tremendous untapped opportunities to make additional improvements.”

Native Knowledge: Don’t feel like walking? Download the OCTA app and pledge to take the bus to receive free bus passes for all-day use during the Meet on Beach multi-city event!

3 | Anaheim

In the mood for something special? Then head over to Anaheim for performances by the Western High School dance team, the Boys and Girls Club and Project S.A.Y. Ballet Folklorico. You can also learn to skate like the pros at the pop-up hockey rink featuring the Anaheim Ducks Street Team or do arts and crafts at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center.

4 | Stanton

Make your way down Beach Blvd to Stanton and indulge in local food truck spoils while watching live hula dancers or the Baile Folklorico. Get a midday health screening from Xpress Urgent Care, then get on an inflatable obstacle course for some exercise or enjoy fire truck and police cruiser demonstrations by your neighborhood fire and police departments.

5 | Garden Grove Meet on Beach Boulevard

Feeling lucky? Head to Garden Grove for chances to win a Lucky Prospect Pro Scooter or a family stay at the Great Wolf Lodge! “Even though each city is creating a unique experience…for Meet on Beach,” Rosten states, “through the ongoing work of the Renew Beach Blvd Coalition we will continue…to make Beach Blvd a better place.” Join us and support the cause!

6 | Westminster

After enjoying all the food your stomach can handle, bike your way over to Westminster for some family fun and physical activities. Westminster’s Civic Center will host interactive events where you can play games, get free face paintings or show off your skills on the bike rodeo course. You can even get a great workout by hopping into the kid-friendly jump house!

7 | Huntington Beach

Make your final stop at Huntington Beach to enjoy food from Dos Chinos LLC, Kala Truck and iVibe Coffee Socal for an afternoon pick-me-up! Watch Robert Castillo’s BMX freestyle team perform or get moving with the active strength and conditioning endurance course. The Ramsey Brothers will jam out as the Meet on Beach multi-city event comes to an end.

Native Knowledge: Try ordering off the Dos Chinos regular menu and get the secret itemthe Stoner Burrito. It’s like their breakfast burrito but substitutes carne asada with pork belly. Yum!
