With more than 350 days of sunshine each year, Palm Springs is a hot topic when it comes to vacation destinations. For decades, people have traveled here for golf days, pool hangs and spring breaks to enjoy art, outdoor dining and balmy desert nights. Hotels are always an option, but Palm Springs is renowned for its architecture, so staying in a custom-designed Airbnb is the way to go. Many vacation homes in the area come with private pools, full kitchens and Insta-worthy decor. For the length of your stay, it’ll feel like your own private getaway. Check in to one of these eight Palm Springs Airbnbs for a stylish vacation experience packed with amenities.
Pop Art Oasis
With six beds and two bathrooms, Pop Art Oasis is the perfect place to dwell if you plan on coming with a group (it holds up to eight overnight guests). The place is covered in bold, colorful pop art–hence the name–creating a fun and photogenic atmosphere. They’ve got an adorable pink record player with a great selection of vinyls (T Swift included), and they take recommendations, so don’t forget to leave them in the guest book for next time! The backyard feels like something out of a movie (you know that pool party scene in “La La Land?”). There’s a large, rectangular pool and a hot tub, bright green turf, yellow striped umbrellas, a ping-pong table, a fire pit and comfy lounge chairs—all with a view of the mountains behind it. It’s right by the airport and just a quick drive away from downtown, making the property great for bachelorette parties, couples trips, birthday weekends and more. For the full experience, the property also partners with different brands to offer things like in-house massages, sound baths and yoga classes! Trust us; you won’t miss the perks of staying at a hotel one bit.
Dazey Desert House
If you want to stay in a literal work of art, the Dazey Desert House is the place for you. Each corner is expertly styled by designer Dani Dazey with midcentury modern decor and lots of orange (couches, doors, floors, cabinets and even the bathtub). This place is so rad it was even featured in a Zedd music video. Head out back to find a 10-foot orange cowboy pool and hot tub located right at the base of Mount San Jacinto. It’s got three bedrooms and sleeps up to six, and it’s great for small groups who want a unique desert experience just five minutes from downtown Palm Springs

Earthy Modern Pool Home
This one is also great for larger groups, but it has a totally different vibe from the aforementioned. Straying from the typical midcentury modern style, the Earthy Modern Pool Home has more of a casual desert charm with wicker wall art, hanging macrame, cactus tapestries and wooden tables. What’s most unique about this house is it has a private studio casita out back. The main house can fit up to six in its three bedrooms, and the casita houses up to two more. They all share a huge yard with ample shade, a long outdoor table for family dinners and, of course, a giant pool with lots of lounge chairs.
Hangar Hideaway
Talk about unique—this Joshua Tree escape wins for coolest backyard. It’s out in a private area of J Tree, so you’ll have peace, quiet and space for days (with some of the best stargazing out there). The name stems from the old airplane hangar converted into an outdoor movie theater (you can’t make this stuff up!). The yard also has a hot tub, a soaking tub for cold plunges and a yoga and meditation deck where you can salute the sunrise in absolute bliss. Inside fits up to eight guests, and they’ve even got a garage that’s been transformed into a full game room.
Twin Palms Sinatra Estate
Frank Sinatra himself commissioned an architect to build him this stunning four-bedroom mansion now known as the Twin Palms Sinatra Estate. Throughout the house, there’s lots of Sinatra art and memorabilia, and his OG recording studio is still there to see. If you’re a fan of the oldies, you’ll definitely want to check this place out—there’s a vintage audio system, large piano in the living room and even the pool is shaped like a piano. Each room is unique, and better yet, each has its own full bathroom and TV (the pink tiled one will transport you back in time). And who doesn’t want to say they’ve stayed in Sinatra’s dream home?
Yucca Valley Earth House
Earth House is perfect for the environmentally and socially conscious. This tranquil spot is nestled among boulders, offering a peaceful retreat in Yucca Valley. It’s completely serene with earthy colors, linen bedding and local clay and sand. The decor you see is either thrifted, vintage or hand-built with reclaimed materials. The suite is attached to the owner’s home, but it features a private entrance, king-size bed, kitchenette and full bathroom. Through large sliding glass doors, you’ll see stunning boulders, breathtaking sunsets and your private outdoor lounge area. Nearby, you can immerse yourself in the rich heritage of local tribes, and proceeds of your stay will support indigenous organizations.
Monterey Manor
I’m not sure what qualifies something as a manor, but looking at this place, we think it counts. Monterey Manor screams luxury. It features a unique modern design with a kitchen that’ll make you want to learn how to make an Old Fashioned. Its three bedrooms and two baths make it a comfortable stay for up to six guests—perfect for a classy weekend trip or fancy celebration. It’s located in the neighborhood of Sunmor, which is a residential area filled with other upscale houses with clean lines, flat roofs, large windows and vibrant colors. It’s also got a glistening pool out back where you can lounge with a book or drink in hand.
Dome House
This place is called the Dome House because well, it’s a house shaped like a dome! In addition, there’s an attached geodesic dome–a large transparent dome structure you can sit inside and stargaze from. Situated on five acres of land, it’s a true retreat space (for an extra fee, you can even book it for weddings and events). The house itself is ultra unique and gorgeous—think rounded walls that are pretty much all windows. Revel in the 360-degree views of the mountains and windmills as you sit on the couch. It fits up to six, but it’s the perfect romantic escape for two if that’s what you’re after.
