Floor Plans and Design

We love an apartment with a sleek, modern design, and Winslow definitely delivers. The San Diego apartment community has studios, one-bedroom-one-bath and two-bed-two-bath apartments to choose from. The open floor plans, large windows, floods of natural light and San Diego views make for a Zoom background you won’t even have to blur out in your meetings. In each kitchen, you’ll find sleek, quartz countertops, a gorgeous tile backsplash, new stainless steel appliances and more. The spa-style bathrooms feature a ceramic tile shower, a nice big tub and plenty of shelving for all your towels and toiletries.

Each apartment has its own full-size washer and dryer (no quarters necessary), and there’s even USB outlets in the kitchen and bedrooms. Depending on which apartment you choose, you may even have a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the sunny city even if you’re inside living the work-from-home lifestyle.

Local Insight: Winslow is an LEED-certified community! This is a certification that recognizes the building as efficient, cost-effective and all-around better for occupants and the environment.

Unmatched Amenities

In addition to its sleek design and in-apartment amenities, Winslow has so much more to offer. Visible from some of those balconies is the community’s pool and spa area with grills for all your summer BBQ desires and even a hibachi table. (We recommend heading to one of the Asian grocery stores down the road and cheffin’ up!) After you eat, you can play some ping-pong, pool or foosball on one of the tables out in the entertainment courtyard. It won’t be long before all your friends make you host every future hang out at your place.

If you work from home and need a change of scenery, there’s a coworking space downstairs with private conference rooms and even a coffee bar (why ever leave?). And on your lunch break, you can head to the 24-hour fitness and yoga studio to get a workout in. “What about pets,” you ask? Not only are they allowed here, but Winslow even has a pet spa and recreation area (luxury for all!). And don’t worry about cramming your bike into the corner of your living room–this place has bike storage and even a repair room.

Location/Neighborhood

This is all great, but not if your new “home sweet home” is in the middle of nowhere. And fortunately, it isn’t! Winslow is situated in University Heights—a diverse, charming and walkable neighborhood with an engaged community and plenty to explore. Stepping outside your apartment, you’d be right on Park Blvd, which is lined with shops, restaurants, bars and bookstores. You’ll then run into Adams Ave–the town’s main drag that hosts annual events and festivals, including the Adams Avenue Street Fair, which takes place each fall.

While the neighborhood itself is great, it also provides easy access to other San Diego enclaves. Just southwest is Hillcrest, the heart of SD’s LGBTQ+ community with vibrant nightlife and shopping. North Park, situated southeast of University Heights, is a trendy neighborhood known for its thriving arts and culture scene. A straight shot south is Balboa Park, one of San Diego’s iconic attractions with museums, gardens, performing arts venues and the San Diego Zoo. Last but not least, you’re just a 15-minute drive from Ocean Beach—far enough to escape the marine layer but close enough to feel like a real San Diegan!

Winslow has it all: modern style, luxe amenities and a prime location. So whether you’re looking to hop neighborhoods or upgrade your living situation, there’s no better time to tour these new luxury apartments San Diego!
