The Mokara Salon & Spa is the ultimate place for a healthy dose of summer self-care. This recently revamped spa boasts 9,000 square feet of tranquil space with12 beautifully designed treatment rooms where you can indulge in world-class massages and facials. The seasonal specials are only available for a limited time, so take advantage of them while you can. The Summer of Citrus Age-Defying Massage uses a hydrating shea butter that is mixed with a firming paracress plant extract. These unique ingredients revitalize and hydrate the skin, especially after a long day in the Arizona sun. The body wrap is another unique summer special that gently swaths your body in a hydrating cocoon while your hair and scalp receive an invigorating massage. The BABOR Vitamin C Infusion facial cleanses the skin in preparation for some exclusive summer enhancements, such as a scalp soother serum and dry-brush exfoliation. The salon also offers extensive hair and nail services if you want to work on that summer glow-up.

What better than a cozy movie night? A cool movie night in the pool! This summer, Omni Tucson National Resort will be hosting dive-in movies on Fridays and Saturdays at dusk. This is the perfect opportunity to watch your favorite flicks outdoors while taking a dip at the resort’s Sweet Water Pool. Though these are family-friendly screenings, adults will be able to enjoy craft cocktails, wine and beer from the full bar, making the dive-in movies an event that all ages will love. There will also be concession cuisine if you get hungry in the middle of the movie. The movie series kicks off on Friday, July 5 with a showing of “Lion King,” followed by “Lion King II: Simba’s Pride” the next night. Other movies on the calendar include “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Jungle Book,” “Emperor’s New Groove” and “Brother Bear.”

With six different on-site dining concepts at Omni Tucson National Resort, expect to have every summer craving satisfied. While Bob’s Steak & Chop House is the star of the show, other restaurants include Desert, Farmer, The Peak, Terra Cotta Cafe, Legend’s Bar & Grill and Sweet Water Terrace. Though all eateries are open for regular dining, there are also a couple of summer specials you won’t want to miss. The four-course summer dinner for two at Bob’s Steak & Chop House is a major steal that costs only $130 per couple. Start things off with the jumbo shrimp and lump crab cocktail before enjoying a pair of wedge salads. For the main course, split a 16-ounce chateaubriand, which can be made Oscar-style for $35, then end on a sweet note with the flourless decadence torte. You can also enjoy a special summer menu at Sweet Water Terrace with casual bites like quesabirria and spicy chicken wings.

4 | Aqua Fitness Classes

Get movin’ and groovin’ with one of Omni Tucson National Resort’s Aqua Fitness classes. Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., guests can join a group class at the Sweet Water Pool! In addition to aiding in physical health, these classes contribute to mental well-being, making them a treat for both your mind and body. Best of all, classes are complimentary to hotel guests, ensuring that you have no excuse not to get your day started with some movement. Since summer is the season of frivolity, getting some exercise in before drinking and dining by the pool is always a good idea, and if you’re sick of the same-old gym routine, water fitness is a great way to switch things up. Don’t forget to bring ample sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat for your own comfort and protection.

5 | Sunset Sound Healing

A sunset sound healing is truly the perfect end to a summer day. On Saturday, June 15, guests can partake in an immersive wellness experience that is designed to heal with soothing frequencies. This sound healing experience at Omni Tucson National can be enjoyed poolside in a lounge chair or on a floating raft. The poolside sound healing costs $50 and the floating session costs $75. Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned pro, expect your mind to enter a deep state of relaxation. By moving your mind into a state of theta, you are giving your nervous system a true chance to regulate and heal, making this a must-try activity for those in need of a little reset.
