Andrea Orsi Brings Heritage and Expertise to Beautify Newport Beach

The newly opened Andrea Orsi Beauty Lounge in Newport Beach is ready and waiting for you with a glass of bubbly and all the vibes of a sophisticated lounge. No matter what service you seek, Andrea Orsi and her team will take care of you from start to finish; after all, taking their time is one of the things that makes them unique.
Prior to her three decades experience, Orsi was destined to be a beautician. Both her parents (originally from Europe)—were beauticians, which inspired Orsi to pursue a career of her own.
“The beauty industry chose me!” says Orsi.
For almost 20 years now, Orsi continues to incorporate Brazilian and European influences into her work. With a total of four salons in Brazil, she decided to pack up her talents and bring her expertise to the States. “After having a few salons in South America, opening one in California was always a dream,” says Orsi, “I really wanted that lounge feel—a place our clients can relax and have a glass of champagne or wine.” Her dream solan finally came to be with the grand opening last month in September, proving her journey and efforts to be worth it. “The love I am receiving from my clients, family and friends, and the opportunity to help and influence so many people—that is what makes this so rewarding,” Orsi said.
Her lounge offers clients a variety of services, ranging from skin care to hair and nail treatments and of course—Brazilian blowouts! The blowout is a specialty at the Andrea Orsi Beauty Lounge. Why? Because she is from Brazil! “This is where we came from; this is where the blowouts started,” says Orsi. “Back home, people would be mixing this up in their backyards.” Blowouts from the Beauty Lounge last longer than most, which is due to their care and high quality products. “We do the real deal here. We take small sections at a time and take our time to do it right. You are not just a number here; we are not just trying to get you in and out. We are very particular,” says Orsi. The Beauty Lounge also carries and uses a line of products for this service that doesn’t change the client’s hair tone (giving blonde a yellow look, for example). They even have a product that neutralizes any bad pigmentation.
The Andrea Orsi Beauty Lounge also offers Brazilian waxing, featuring organic wax imported from Brazil. This is better for sensitive skin and creates less irritation, as it contains natural ingredients like honey. In addition to waxing, they offer what they call the Moonshine Body Treatment. “This is for those women that like to keep their body hair but like it to be blonde,” Orsi says. “We offer this service with a body scrub, and it has become very popular.”
