Haunt’oween LA

Where: The Promenade at Westfield Topanga
When: 5-11 p.m., until Oct. 31
Price: $30 per person on weekdays, $35 per person on weekends (all ages welcome)

Explore an immersive, family-friendly Halloween playground at Westfield Topanga. More than 150,000 square feet of fiendish and festive activities await, including trick-or-treating, pumpkin-picking and carving, live performances and a 40-foot carousel. With food trucks and a Malibu Wines tasting garden, it’s an event that’s sure to delight those of all ages.

Grab your friends (from this realm or the next) to explore a strange wonderland filled with glowing and grinning jack-o’-lanterns that’s tucked away on a winding road in the Santa Monica Mountains. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios

It’s time to howl, shriek and screech for Boo at the LA Zoo—a series of fantastical events to celebrate Halloween—and learn a little while you’re at it! Get up close to creepy crawlies in the LAIR and learn frightful facts about animals that have inspired monstrous tales for centuries.

 

Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel Oktoberfest and Halloween Celebration

Where: Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel
When: 1 p.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 23 and 6 p.m.-9 p.m., Oct. 31 

Head to the pool deck at Blue Streak on the 23rd for pretzels, bratwurst and German chocolate cake to celebrate Oktoberfest! There will be live music and Golden Road Brewing serving their best brews. And on Halloween night, you’ll want to come right back because there will be a DJ playing spooky sounds. Complimentary Halloween movies all weekend long (Oct. 29, 30 and 31) will also be available—don’t miss out!

Rooftop Sin-ema Club

It’s a total treat to catch your favorite Halloween film at the Rooftop Sin-ema Club. Throughout October, they’ll be showing The Addams Family, Friday the 13th, Hocus Pocus, The Craft, Scream…the list goes on!
