Love & Salt Manhattan Beach

Love & Salt is a Manhattan Beach staple that encourages a sense of community and family. The Italian menu has everything from pasta to wood-fired pizzas, and you can expect to see some Mother’s Day-inspired dishes during the holiday. They have a large patio out front that is great for watching the sunset, but their contemporary interior and open-kitchen design make for a great scene while sipping on a glass of red wine.

If you can’t take your mom on a tropical trip to Mexico, take her to Esperanza instead! From the craft margaritas to the sleek, monochromatic interior, Esperanza is a transportive restaurant that is sure to leave your mama speechless. Their menu is huge, but some of our favorite dishes include their various crudos, short-rib taquitos and crispy tacos. Since it’s only a few blocks from the beach, you might even catch a nice sea breeze while sipping on your mezcal margarita.
