National Oyster Day is Wednesday, August 5, and Herringbone La Jolla is celebrating in a big way! From Sunday, August 2 through Thursday, August 6, stop by Herringbone La Jolla for $1 oysters. Yes, you read that right: $1 oysters. This is a limited-time nightly special, so hurry in to get your oyster fix.

And that’s not all! Specially priced white wine is also available to pair with this dish. Los Morros, Sauv Blanc is available for just $9 per glass or $36 a bottle. Other options include Soave Pieropan, 2017, Muscadet, Guy Saget ‘Les Clissages d’ Or’, Loire Valley, France 2016 and Melon, Lieu Dit, Santa Maria Valley, California 2018.

Herringbone oysters are farmed from the Baja California region of Mexico—so they are nothing but fresh and delicious. Order a dozen oysters to start and then indulge in grilled salmon, vegan bolognese pasta or Chilean sea bass.

Herringbone is located in quaint downtown La Jolla and is known for their “fish meats field” menu. Expect nothing but fresh fish, fresh seafood and fresh produce when dining here. Reservations are recommended as there is limited capacity due to government regulations and mandates. This $1 oyster special is the perfect occasion to get out of the house and enjoy an outdoor dining experience!
