Palisades Village Sets Grand Reopening Date of Saturday, August 15

Caruso’s beloved Pacific Palisades destination returns with a curated mix of world-class retail, dining, and community experiences.

Nearly 19 months after the January 2025 Palisades Fire forced its closure, Palisades Village is officially coming back. Caruso, the developer behind the beloved Pacific Palisades shopping and dining destination, announced July 8 that the center will reopen to the public on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The reopening marks one of the most significant milestones in the ongoing recovery of Pacific Palisades. Palisades Village has long been defined by its unique blend of refined design, local character and community spirit, and its return promises to usher in a new chapter for the center and the community it serves.

“Following the heartbreaking fires of 2025, the Palisades community has worked tirelessly toward this moment of renewal,” said Rick Caruso, founder and executive chairman of Caruso. “We promised to come back better than before the fires, and we did. This is a moment to turn the page together, and it will be an unforgettable one. It’s a comeback story for the history books and a love letter to L.A.”

The Aug. 15 reopening will feature a full day of curated events, immersive experiences and community programming, with additional details expected in the coming weeks.

The property will welcome back beloved neighborhood favorites Loomey’s Toys and K Bakery, alongside returning names including elysewalker, A.L.C., Erewhon and Zimmermann. Also returning are Brunello Cucinelli, Veronica Beard and Blue Ribbon Sushi, among others.

“We’re proud to bring this experience back for the community and to once again set the standard for what a neighborhood village can be,” said Corinne Verdery, chief executive officer of Caruso.

New Additions to the Lineup

This next chapter also introduces new tenants and first-to-market concepts, including Nancy Silverton’s Italian steakhouse Spacca Tutto, the first West Coast location for LESET, and Los Angeles-based brands Violet Grey and Xirena.

“Palisades Village is 99% leased, with the majority of tenants returning alongside an exciting mix of new retail and dining concepts, nearly one-third of which are new to the property,” said Jackie Levy, chief financial and revenue officer of Caruso.

More Than a Shopping Center

Originally opened in September 2018, Palisades Village is a bespoke walkable village home to more than 40 boutiques, dining venues, the historic Bay Theater, a specialty grocer, concierge service, a community room and beautifully landscaped green space. The first business district in California to be certified LEED Gold by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), the center is designed to serve as a true community gathering place for neighbors and visitors alike.

Beyond retail and dining, Palisades Village will come to life through a robust calendar of seasonal events, community gatherings and family-friendly experiences designed to bring the community together year-round.

“We can’t wait to celebrate with you,” Caruso said. “Come see us on Aug. 15.”
