See Why Gearheads and Car Fanatics Gathered in Indio for the Ride of Their Lives Charlotte Farrell November 15, 2018 Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on PinterestShare on RedditShare on LinkedInShare on InstagramShare on YouTubeShare on EmailShare on WhatsAppindiGO Auto Group Hosted a Soirée That Revved Our Engines–Literally Written By: Charlotte Farrell Palm Springs Gearheads Start your engines! And they’re off! Vroom vroom! All clichés and car noises aside, driving fast is pretty dang fun. Just ask Ricky Bobby—if you ain’t first, you’re last. On Oct. 31, indiGO Auto Group hosted their Kick Up the Dust event in Indio, offering guests a chance to experience an off-road drive in SUVs that might make your car blush. So what kind of rides are we talking? Those who decided to try one from their line of exotic SUVs, weren’t disappointed. They got behind the wheel of dream cars like a Bentley Bentayga, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan—which also happens to be Rolls-Royce’s first SUV—a Lamborghini Urus if they wanted to brag about handling a Lambo, the all-new Porsche Cayenne and some classically off-road-all star Land Rover vehicles, all in hourly increments so everyone had a go. Not to mention, the setting for this excursion was one that tested everyone’s driving skills under pressure. Metate Ranch is a stunning place to gather, but an even better one for drivers to feel the way each vehicle handled it all, and whether they liked a lot of movement or preferred a smooth journey, each car managed in its own unique fashion. Guests were also given the chance to take their own personal ride for a spin on the course, determining whether or not it could handle the twists, turns and bumps on the road! But we’re pretty sure after a few spins in a Bentley, some might have considered a trade in. And who can blame them? We all love to go fast, just not too fast, of course—because no one likes a speeding ticket. indiGO Auto Group 71-387 Hwy 111 Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 855.502.2598 Metate Ranch 38635 Monroe St Indio CA, 92203 760.324.5337 Palm Springs Gearheads
