Attention “Selling Sunset” fans: we’ve got news for you. The Oppenheim Group is making their way down south and opening a new office in Newport Beach. For those who aren’t familiar, “Selling Sunset” is a real estate reality show with three seasons on Netflix; viewers can expect stunning luxurious homes and—like any reality TV show—a bit of drama.

Jason Oppenheim, president and founder of The Oppenheim Group, shares with us some exciting details about the announcement. “I’ve been thinking for years whether to open a second office, and if so, where? I’ve been going to Newport Beach my whole life, and I just recently found myself going down there every weekend.”

It’s no doubt that Orange County has beautiful, jaw-dropping real estate. “The luxury retail market is a huge opportunity down there,” Oppenheim notes. He explains that he has a lot to learn down in OC, but he’s looking forward to it and creating a cohesive family environment in the process.

While the usual “Selling Sunset” cast will continue to work in the LA office, this second space will be home to new agents, but Heather Rae Young and Oppenheim himself will work frequently out of this new office. Yes, since we are all wondering, this Newport Beach location will appear on the beloved Netflix show (and they are currently hiring agents!).

“I found the perfect office space. This is the right place and the right time. We have an impressive build out; I want to do it right, and I want to do it once,” Oppenheim says. The office is expected to open in eight to 10 weeks, aiming for a late March opening. “I want to celebrate my birthday there on April 12. I’m hoping to time the launch party with my birthday.” And with that, we look forward to the celebration and all that will come from The Oppenheim Group in Newport Beach.
