New Del Sur and Huntington Beach Spots Are Serving Our Favorite Sandwiches

Two new locations of your favorite sandwich shop are expected to open in December, totaling 12 SoCal Board & Brew locations, including one in Pet Co Park and one expected to open in Tustin in 2017. Specialty sandwiches, wraps, salads, locally crafted beers, and—how can we forget—that special sauce will all be readily available at the new Del Sur and Huntington Beach locations.
Del Sur is a young, up and coming neighborhood that Board & Brew is excited to tap into. With high schools close by and home developments in the works, the San Diego ‘hood is on the rise. “We are super excited about being a part of this new community, ” Craig Applegate, Franchise Co-Owner of Board & Brew Del Sur, says. “We’re excited to grow as it grows.”
They are ready to jump into serving this community too, Applegate says. Board & Brew is rooted in their Give Back programs where they donate to organizations like local little league teams for jerseys or maybe towards a donation to a local kid’s hospital bills.
Expect a 1, 300-square-foot inside/outside patio that is perfect for those on a date or just stopping by after the beach. All Board & Brews pride themselves on making sure to highlight the California lifestyle. Del Sur will also be using Art of Board, an organization that uses reclaimed skateboard decks and transforms them into artisan tile as part of their aesthetic. Plus, flat screen TVs will be tuned to the big game so you can clink with your buddies after your team scores. Don’t forget about their happy hour deals—seven days a week 3 to 6 p.m. enjoy $2 off beer.
Despite all the “new”, Board & Brew’s mantra stays the same: keep it fresh. From the vegetables to the freshly baked bread delivered every morning to their Australian grass-fed beef steak they aim to serve the highest quality of ingredients to their customers. “Our biggest thing is value, ” Applegate says. “You’ll get a lot for your money.”
The Huntington Beach location will be the first Board and Brew franchise in the area whereas this is Applegate’s fifth co-owner venture adding to his Pacific Beach, Carlsbad Village, Scripps Ranch, and Laguna Niguel spots.
