10 Reasons You’ll Join This Amenity-Packed OC Gym and Never Look Back

This Is More Than a Gym; It’s a Lifestyle

In the SoCal fitness scene, there’s everything from your basic 24-Hour Fitness to influencer-oasis Equinox, and each sweat society comes with its own perks, plans and pleasantries. But there are few workout wonderlands quite like Renaissance ClubSport in Aliso Viejo.

You can’t even really call it a gym because it’s more like an all-inclusive oasis for your mind, body and spirit. Gone are the days of having to mentally work yourself up to go to the gym. In fact, you’ll likely have trouble leaving this health haven! More is more at ClubSport, and they really thought of everything to cater to a clientele that craves community, kid-friendly or kid-free time with a sanctuary that allows you to sweat, spa and savor. This place is really something special, and here are 10 reasons why.

Free Time for Me Time

Did you say three hours of free childcare per day, per child with a family membership? You’re sure right we did! Renaissance ClubSport is home to Kids World, a safe and stimulating daycare-style drop-off destination for kids ranging in age from six weeks to 12 years old. Childcare professionals will gladly entertain your little ones while you lounge by the pool, sneak in a spa treatment or try out a specialty class like boxing or Pilates Reformer. Heck, you can even use it as an excuse to grab dinner at Citrus Fresh Grill and bask in the silence of eating sans offspring.

Family Fun

This gym was created with families in mind, so it is not surprising that they offer an array of events and activities that are fun for the whole gang. Every Sunday is family night (kids eat free), and wine-tasting experiences are offered every other month. There’s restorative yoga and sound bath events, adults and kids seasonal sports leagues, spa specials, holiday hoopla and so much more! Parents can also take advantage of their twice-monthly ClubSport escapes, which means couples can enjoy a worry-free night (on-property or off) while their children hang with other member kids to enjoy movies, pizza and arts and crafts.

Camp ClubSport

A parent’s worst nightmare is realizing their kids are off school for ski week or spring break and not having any activities lined up. Fear not because Renaissance ClubSport members can partake in the seasonal camps ClubSport offers. Camps have two sessions—morning or afternoon—and are filled with adventures like science projects, cooking, fitness fun, arts and crafts and friendly competitions. Weekly, half-day pricing ranges from $160 for preferred members to $225 for non-members.

You’ll feel like you’re at a fancy resort sitting around Renaissance ClubSport’s expansive poolside paradise that features a six-lane, 25-yard lap pool, adults-only whirlpool, kids’ splash pad and seasonal pool bar with all the fruity, umbrella garnish cocktails that you crave on vacation. This is a great spot to enjoy a pool day with the family or just soak up some post-sweat sunshine before diving back into reality.

Pickleball is all the rage these days and for good reason—it’s a sport that’s fun for all skill levels and pairs well with happy hour. Renaissance ClubSport recently added to their repertoire of amenities by prioritizing pickleball and making it a staple sport at the club for members. Newcomers can join their weekly 60-minute Introduction to Pickleball class with a pickleball pro to learn the ins and outs of this popular game, and veterans can reserve courts for some friendly competition before hitting Citrus Fresh Grill for some post-pickle sustenance. Other sports include racquetball, basketball and squash.

Fitness is the foundation of Renaissance ClubSport, and they offer over 95 different classes per week that include boutique classes, yoga, cycling, aqua, high intensity interval (HIIT) training, circuit training, Pilates, boxing, Zumba and, well, you get the picture—the options are endless! Needless to say, there’s something for everyone. They offer a full-spectrum weight management program that includes small group workouts and nutrition services as well as personal training  for optimal results. Citrus Fresh Grill even offers Rev32 Ready-to-Go Meals to support your fitness goals and make nourishing your body easy. For only $130 for 10 meals, this is a no brainer.

Spa Day

R Spa is one-of-a-kind in that it offers fitness support services like stretching, massaging and Therabody recovery boots that use compressed air to increase circulation to reduce soreness and fatigue. Body treatments like waxing and tanning as well as skincare services like their prized hydrafacial are offered on a daily basis. There are also some spectacular spa packages like the Reminisce for Two, a couples experience that includes a massage, facial and lunch for two.

Grills Just Wanna Have Fun

Citrus Fresh Grill is the one-stop shop for all things edible and delicious at Renaissance ClubSport. Grab a nutritious breakfast, a quick and efficient lunch or slow things down over dinner with something farm-fresh like their blackened mahi mahi with mango chutney, white rice and coconut curry sauces. Resort members get 20% off food at the grill on all menu and market items. They also offer adult beverages, so if you feel like capping off your spa or sweat with a little sip of something to retox the detox, they have that too.
