Show Your Significant Other Some Love With a Weeknight Excursion

Southern California is imbued with romance and beauty everywhere you look, so why should a candlelit dinner be reserved for only the weekends? Not only are there less tourists and crowds at your favorite restaurant on a Thursday night, but dates during the week are a great way to both invoke magic into the mundane and fall back in love with where we live all over again. We’ve picked our top 12 spots in Orange County for weekday dates, so you don’t have to wait until Friday night at 5 o’clock to have some fun. Orange County Date Ideas

Looking to keep things casual? We get it—a sit-down dinner isn’t alway the move. So instead of expensive drinks and small talk, take a breezy bike ride down the Newport Peninsula! Aventon offers a premier selection of electric bikes that can reach up to 28 miles per hour, so you and your date can zip from place to place with ease. The leisure-focused Pace 350, a Class II model, is the perfect vehicle to cruise along the boardwalk with its comfortable wide saddle and 35-mile range. After you’re done taking in views of the waves, head over to Lido Marina Village for some light shopping or a casual bite at one of the center’s many restaurants. If you really want to impress your guy or gal, make your way to Lido Bottle Works for some craft beer, wine and tasty tapas. Now that’s a “date day” they’ll remember!
