Throughout the year, gay bars in and around Palm Springs offer a welcoming atmosphere for people of every sexuality; there is something for everyone, and that’s what Palm Springs is all about. Here are seven gay bars to check out on your next visit to Greater Palm Springs.

With Toucans tropical theme including tiki masks, island foliage and friendly faces, everyone who walks in will feel like they’ve landed in an island paradise. Sing the Night Away

One of the friendliest and oldest LGBT bars in Palm Springs, it’s no surprise that Streetbar has become the go-to local hangout. Everyone is treated like a VIP and, although advertised as a gay bar, Streetbar has a variety of people frequenting their karaoke nights every Sunday through Wednesday and other fun nightly events Thursday through Saturday.

Dance, Dance, Baby

Take a Chill Pill

Chill Bar

At Chill Bar, all are free to dance to the variety of music offered–everything from country, to hip-hop to electronic. Male and female go-go dancers can be found around the bar, showing everyone how to have a good time. The infamous Chill Bar Scorpion Room, the “playful side of Chill Bar,” is a local favorite and the dance club is where special and private events are held.

A piano bar on Arenas Road—the area filled with crowded bars and thumping nightclubs—Stacy’s offers a relatively intimate setting. Of course, this doesn’t mean they’re any less fun! Join them for events like SONGO Tuesday, which they describe as an “entertaining version of Bingo with songs.”
