So when the car made its debut, boasting an impressive 831 combined horsepower and even an electronically-controlled rear differential, the wider automotive world was, naturally, excited to say the least. But perhaps no other motorheads were more enthused than the engineers over at BRABUS, who were already concocting plans to take this vehicle and make it into a luxurious, yet wickedly powerful, monster of a machine.

Through the injection of their very own BRABUS 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged high-performance V8 engine, which synchronizes effortlessly with Mercedes’ hybrid drivetrain, BRABUS adds 99 horsepower to the GT 63’s impressive 831 for a grand total of 930 horsepower, effectively earning its name. Combine this with the upgraded version of their 1,550 Nm nine-speed transmission and you get a modern luxury vehicle capable of reaching 100 km/h (roughly 62 mph) in 2.8 seconds. All this is then funneled through a custom exhaust system designed to reduce pressure and maximize power, delivering a sharp yet thunderous engine note akin to the roll of thunder after a blast of lightning.

With a diameter of 21 inches in the front and 22 on the rear axle, these custom-forged rims, crafted down to the millimeter via CNC machining technology, are designed with both weight distribution and control in mind, perfectly balancing the car without compromising grip.
