Ernest Coffee

Ernest Coffee is a Palm Springs staple that serves Stumptown Coffee in a rustic yet modern setting. The space features red industrial chairs, cozy bistro tables and a sunny patio where you can soak up the desert sun. As the only independent coffee shop serving the legendary Stumptown Coffee, Ernest Coffee stands apart from the competition, making it a great spot to gather with friends or settle in for a productive day of work. Guests are even able to stay into the evening and make the switch from coffee to wine or beer. We’ll cheers to that! 

 

Koffi Coffee

Koffi Coffee has three different locations in Palm Springs, making it one of the most convenient and accessible coffee shops in the city. The original location is in the Uptown Design District, the one in the southern part of the city is next to the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, where the Mount San Jacinto backdrop allows for guests to sip their coffee in serenity as they enjoy their brew in the courtyard. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Koffi allows you to get your caffeine kick all day long. If you prefer to lay low at home, you can even have your iced latte or fruit smoothie delivered straight to your door! 

 

Ristretto

Located within the historic Five Hundred Palm Springs, Ristretto is a charming and quaint coffee shop with plenty of indoor seating and a small patio out front. The glass cases are filled with a mouthwatering array of baked goods, such as chunky chocolate chip cookies and soft cinnamon rolls. There are also plenty of grab-and-go salads, parfaits and hummus plates that you can take for breakfast or lunch. If you’re looking to get out of the house while working from home, the free Wi-Fi makes working with an iced latte in hand easy and enjoyable.

Bluebird Days

Bluebird Days is a brand new coffeehouse that has set up shop in Lighthouse Dispensary, allowing you to cure two cravings at once. In addition to classic coffee creations like lattes and macchiatos, Bluebird Days also offers several kinds of refreshing teas—with flavors ranging from crimson berry iced tea to a spiced chai latte. The menu also features frozen blended drinks to help you beat the desert heat along with elevated refreshers like lavender lemonade.

Café La Jefa

Located in Uptown Palm Springs, Café La Jefa is a modern and hip cafe with Latin flair. The coffee is made using beans from Sisters Coffee that hail from central Oregon, and the menu features beloved classics like cappuccinos as well as more complex concoctions like the Peruvian-inspired Chagaccino. There is also a solid selection of grab-and-go artisan pastries along with more formal food options, including a breakfast sandwich and the La Jefa Cobb salad.
