Q: Could you describe Espresso Republic’s role with Dripp Coffee Bar?
Gabe Venegas: Espresso Republic is the parent company of Dripp. Both companies operate as separate entities and independently. Espresso Republic is the roasting company and focuses on wholesale and production, while Dripp is the retail branch of the company where customers can be part of the coffee shop experience.
Q: What makes Espresso Republic stand apart from other coffees?
GV: Particularly, I think Espresso Republic just does a really good job at being all about the details. In everything that we do, the approach is all the little things matter. [Such as] for sourcing the coffee, our owner goes out and directs trades with these farmers.
Q: What is your favorite item on the Dripp menu?
GV: My favorite indulgent drink is our Spanish Latte, made with sweetened condensed milk, espresso, steamed milk and lightly dusted with cinnamon.
Q: What makes Dripp Coffee Bar unique from other coffee shops?
GV: Approachable by both young and old, whether new to coffee or veteran coffee snob. Dripp focuses on its environment with attention to detail in the decor, providing a bright and lively experience. The same goes for the menu; we offer a wide variety of selections with a fun approach to specialty coffee for anyone to enjoy.
Q: How does using the Espresso Republic products enhance the quality of the coffee drinks your clients make?
GV: We only roast to order so every time someone places an order, we roast that specifically. Like I said, with our passion for quality coffee, we want to make sure that every coffee is fresh and every roast is tailored to bring out the specific characteristics for each coffee.
