Inside LA’s Most Intentional New Wellness Collaboration
There is something fitting about Elissa Goodman and Café Gratitude finding each other again. The certified holistic nutritionist who launched her career by creating the original cleanse programs for the beloved LA restaurant has returned, and this time she is bringing her 3-day cleanse package directly to Café Gratitude Venice. Pre-orders are live now.
Who Is Elissa Goodman
Elissa Goodman is a Los Angeles-based certified holistic nutritionist and lifestyle cleanse expert. She earned her certification at the American University of Complementary Medicine in Los Angeles. Her path into nutrition began after a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 32, which led her to explore the relationship between food, lifestyle and healing. Over the years she has developed cleanse programs in partnership with Café Gratitude and M Café, and has collaborated with Erewhon as an Ambassador with a signature juice blend. She is also the author of Cancer Hacks: A Holistic Guide to Overcoming Your Fears and Healing Cancer and offers one-on-one sessions, bloodwork review and personalized guidance through her website.
What Is the Cleanse
The Elissa Goodman 3-Day Cleanse Package at Café Gratitude Venice is priced at $350. The program is designed to support people who are undernourished at a cellular level, with every meal and beverage built around nutrient-dense, organic, plant-based ingredients. According to the program’s guidelines, it is intended to be supportive rather than extreme and is described as working for people on GLP-1 medications, those who are microdosing and anyone feeling foggy, depleted or inflamed.
The cleanse encourages plenty of water throughout the day, organic coffee without refined sugar if needed, and gentle movement such as walking, stretching, yoga or light Pilates. Alcohol is avoided during the three days. Menu modifications and substitutions are not available due to production volume. You can view the full cleanse menu here.
How to Order
The weekly ordering schedule works as follows: order by 9 p.m. on Friday, pick up your cleanse or receive delivery on Sunday and begin your cleanse on Monday.
Delivery

Cleanse packages scheduled for delivery will arrive on Sunday between 4 and 7 p.m. via Uber Courier. Delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of the Venice location at 512 Rose Ave, Venice, CA 90291. You will need to be present to accept the delivery. Cleanses are not delivered on ice or with cooling packs, so refrigerate immediately upon receipt.
Pickup
If you prefer to pick up your package, you can do so from the Venice location on Sunday between 4 and 9 p.m. While you are required to select a pickup time when placing your order, you may pick up your cleanse anytime within that window.
Storage and Reheating
All menu items in your 3-Day Cleanse Package need to be refrigerated until consumption. To reheat, warm in a saucepan over medium heat until your desired temperature is reached.
Cleanse Support
Cleansers can connect with Elissa Goodman and her team through her website for additional support, one-on-one sessions and personalized guidance. For those looking for deeper direction beyond the cleanse, Elissa also offers bloodwork review and session bundles. For questions about extending the cleanse beyond three days, email [email protected].
A Collaboration Rooted in History

This partnership carries real history. Café Gratitude, which has been operating since 2004, helped launch Elissa Goodman’s career when the restaurant asked her to create their original cleanse programs. That collaboration planted the roots of what became her decades-long focus on accessible, nourishment-forward cleansing. The new 3-day program at Café Gratitude in Venice marks a return to that beginning, now grounded in years of refinement and research.
The cleanse is currently exclusive to the Venice location at 512 Rose Ave and is not available at the Larchmont location. Pre-order now at Café Gratitude’s website.

Q&A
Q: Who is the Elissa Goodman Cleanse designed for?
A: The cleanse is designed for anyone feeling undernourished, foggy, depleted or inflamed. It is also suited for people currently on GLP-1 medications or those who are microdosing. Because the program is built to be supportive rather than extreme, it is accessible to a wide range of people looking to reset through intentional, organic, plant-based food choices. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition or taking medication, check with your practitioner before starting.
Q: Will I be hungry during the three days?
A: The cleanse is built around the philosophy that nourishment, not deprivation, is the path to feeling better. Every meal and beverage is designed to be nutrient-dense, with clean plant-based protein and ample fiber to keep you satiated throughout the day. Elissa’s approach across all of her programs has consistently prioritized whole food satisfaction over restriction.
Q: Can I keep my normal routine while on the cleanse?
A: Yes. The cleanse is designed to work within a regular week. Gentle movement is encouraged, including walking, stretching, yoga and light Pilates. Organic coffee is permitted in moderation, as long as it is paired with an unsweetened, non-dairy milk with no added sugar. Alcohol is avoided during the three days. You can also continue taking your regular supplements, though anyone managing a medical condition should confirm with their doctor first.
Q: What if I want to do the cleanse for longer than three days?
A: For those interested in extending the program beyond three days, Café Gratitude asks that you reach out directly via email at [email protected] for more information. Elissa also offers additional support, one-on-one sessions, bloodwork review and personalized guidance through her website for anyone looking for deeper direction beyond the cleanse itself.
Q: Why is the cleanse only available at Café Gratitude Venice?
A: The cleanse is currently exclusive to the Venice location at 512 Rose Ave, which serves as the pickup and delivery hub for the program. Delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of that location. The Larchmont location does not carry the cleanse. Café Gratitude Venice is the anchor of this partnership, and the program is currently structured around that location for pickup and delivery logistics.
