Julie Prouty is the owner of Brows by Julie located in Newport Beach. She has over 10 years of experience in the disciplined art of brow shaping. Her clientele includes both women and men of all ages, and she even has clients that come all the way from Los Angeles and San Diego to get their brows done by her.
Her charming brow studio exudes a relaxed, beach vibe reminiscent of Hawaii, where Prouty grew up, and the feeling of ‘ohana.’ She loves the beach and can often be found hiking or biking her way up the coast to SeaLegs at the Beach, her favorite local spot when she’s not working.
Prouty has always had a passion for makeup and skincare. After getting her esthetician’s license and working for a few years at Anastasia Beverly Hills in South Coast Plaza, Prouty decided to open her own studio where she would be able to put more of herself into her work and be her own boss.
At Brows by Julie, Julie offers a wide range of brow services including brow shaping, lash and brow tinting, lip waxing and the new and hottest trend in brows—microblading! Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that uses a fine, sharp blade and pigment to mimic the brow hairs of each client for a fuller and natural look.
