Meet Pam Gardner! Liftique Newport Beach
Aesthetic RN and Master Injector and Laser Specialist
Pam has many skills as a registered nurse with years of experience. She primarily specializes in lasers and all types of injections—botox, fillers, microneedling and more. She started her medical journey at the University of Denver and right from college went into pediatric critical care, where she later did an advanced practice role in nephrology (the study of the kidneys). Eventually, she made her way to aesthetics a little less than 10 years ago. “Aesthetics is sort of the icing on the cake of my career,” Gardner says. “Aesthetics goes beyond the superficial part of just wanting to enhance one’s appearance. How we feel about ourselves is how we present ourselves. When you feel good about yourself, regardless of the treatment, it enhances your life.”
When it comes to Gardner’s approach, she aims to create strong relationships with her patients. “When your patients get to know you and you get to know them, there becomes a shared trust. A lot of this business is built on trust and relationships,” she explains. In the world of aesthetics, Gardner believes honesty is the best policy. She takes pride in being meticulous and detail-oriented, and she will always offer an honest opinion on whether someone should go through with a procedure or not. “The Liftique team is all very much in line with wanting to provide a natural look. We really want to promote natural beauty from the inside out,” she says. “We just want you to look like the best version of you!”
Meet Yasaman!
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Yasaman is a result-driven Professional Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 20 years of experience in the medical aesthetic field. She graduated from Guinot Institute in Paris where she completed her aesthetic training, specializing in clinical skincare procedures and treatments. “I perform all kinds of treatments from hydrafacials and dermaplaning to microneedling and coolsculpting,” says Yasaman.
She starts each appointment by introducing herself and getting to know a bit about her patients. She then aims to start an open conversation to discuss some of the issues the patient might have. “Trust is everything!” she explains. Her next step is to formulate a plan for how she can properly treat them. “After a treatment, most of my patients leave with noticeable results. I love seeing them smile. Restoring their confidence is the best part about what I do,” Yasaman says. And as a medical aesthetician, Yasaman is always trying to find ways to make people smile. Each year she tries to add to her repertoire with one new procedure certification. “I am always trying to expand on my experience and learn the latest procedures and treatments,” she says.
Meet Dr. Hakimi!
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Chief Medical Director of Liftique
Dr. Michael Hakimi is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA, majoring in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and later earning his medical degree there. He went on to complete his plastic surgery training at Loma Linda University where he concentrated in advanced aesthetic surgery of the face and body.
When it comes to his practice, Dr. Hakimi is all about care, kindness and meeting the goals and expectations of all his patients. “I always say to my patients: ‘Tell me three things that you hoped to improve when you woke up this morning.’ Most people have spent a lot of time in front of the mirror, so they are able to pinpoint exactly what they want to enhance.” But when it comes to treatment options, Dr. Hakimi tries to provide an assortment of choices, including several noninvasive options. “Whether it is the face of the body, I always do my best to customize the treatment for them.” His creativity and passion for technology and innovation drive his approach, making him one of the best Board Certified plastic surgeons in the business.
