The landmark Temecula Valley winery invites families and wine lovers to celebrate harvest season with a grape stomp, live music, and more on Sept. 26
As harvest season gets underway in Temecula Valley Wine Country, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is marking a milestone 25th anniversary with a fitting celebration: a free, family-friendly Harvest Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Founded in 2001 by the Carter family, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa has played an integral role in establishing Temecula Valley as one of California’s premier wine destinations. Over its 25-year history, the winery has earned multiple accolades, including the distinction of being the only winery named California State Winery of the Year five times.

The Harvest Celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and spans two distinct areas of the property. Family-friendly activities will take place in the Vintner’s Garden, while the Courtyard will host wine tasting, the traditional grape stomp experience, live entertainment and food and beverage offerings. The lineup includes live music, line dancing, tractor rides, and a local makers market, making it a well-rounded fall outing for visitors of all ages.
South Coast Winery’s beloved grape stomp tradition invites participants to compete as two-person teams stomping freshly harvested estate-grown grapes. This year, grape stomp tickets are priced at $50 per team of two. Wine tasting and food and beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the event.

Set on 63 acres of rolling vineyards in the heart of Southern California’s Temecula Valley, the property has emerged as an industry leader known for sustainable winemaking, award-winning hospitality, and memorable experiences. The Sept. 26 celebration offers a timely opportunity to experience the winery during one of its most vibrant seasons, while also marking a significant chapter in its history.
