House of Blues has expanded across the US in its 28-year history, but it’s not just a concert venue. There’s so much more to do at HOB than just listen to music. House of Blues Anaheim has a new location with great new spaces and there’s plenty of events to check out! We are fortunate to have them right here in our backyard where we can catch a drag or gospel show while brunching, burn some energy salsa dancing or take the stage with a live band and belt out karaoke classics.

Salsa Night

Whether your salsa dance moves are mild or extra spicy, every Wednesday at 9 p.m. you can show them off in the exclusive Foundation Room. “There’s roughly an hour of instructional teaching first, so if you don’t know what you’re doing, you get the opportunity to learn,” says La Neisha Young, House of Blues Anaheim’s director of marketing. Come with or without a partner and enjoy DJs, dancing and drink specials. Cover is $10 and admission is 21 and up.

Native Knowledge: The Foundation Room VIP Club is open to guests 21+ after most shows. Present your concert ticket and a valid photo ID to gain access.

Put some south in your mouth with House of Blues Anaheim’s Southern-inspired brunch buffet and get down with the live gospel choir while they perform a mix of traditional gospel songs, Motown hits and all-around feel-good music. “People have a little more fun than they expect,” says Young. “There’s something for everyone.” Shows take place on select Sundays in the House of Blues Music Hall, and tickets are $50 each.

Native Knowledge: For every Gospel Brunch ticket sold, $1 is donated to the House of Blues  Music Forward Foundation. This organization joins music industry insiders with young people, ages 12 to 22, interested in a career in the music business.
