1 | Marina del Rey

Whether you want to celebrate the holiday with a waterfront dinner, or are even trying to go all out and charter a yacht for the ultimate Fourth of July experience, Marina del Rey has you covered. Offering one of the most popular firework shows in all of Los Angeles, this city invites you to stay coastal this Independence Day and watch as the illuminations are shot from a barge off the Marina’s south jetty. The entire town is a prime spot for watching the sky light up with vibrant shades of red, white and blue. The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. and will feature synchronized music played over loudspeakers at either Fisherman’s Village or Burton Chace Park.

 

2 | Hollywood Bowl

One of LA’s favorite summer traditions, celebrate the Fourth of July 2024 in LA at the historic Hollywood Bowl with Grammy and Emmy winner Harry Connick, Jr. and his band! Legendary fireworks will go off in the evening from July 2-4 to celebrate the holiday. Guests can enjoy three exciting nights of music, fireworks and fun, featuring Thomas Wilkins and the LA Phil. 3 | Pacific Palisades

With a parade, 5K and 10K run, fireworks and more, it’s safe to say this LA community does Fourth of July big. Buy tickets in advance to the firework show at Palisades Charter High School, which will also have food trucks and music by DJ Lee Dyson of Hey Mister DJ. Gates open at 6 p.m. and from there, the good times will roll! Make sure to plan the day ahead of time so you have parking figured out.

4 | Dodger Stadium

What’s more American than a baseball game on the Fourth of July? Head to Dodger’s Stadium on the Fourth of July to watch the LA Dodgers face off against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Indulge in all of the delicious stadium food, and stay until the end to catch a special fireworks show! The game starts at 6:10 p.m., so the firework show will start around 9 p.m.

 

5 | Rooftop Cinema Club DTLA

Keep it mellow this Fourth of July with a movie and fireworks—on a rooftop! Join Rooftop Cinema DTLA for a viewing of “Independence Day” starring Will Smith at 8:40 p.m. Guests will also enjoy a live acoustic set of Americana music, sip cold beverages from the bar and indulge in a plate of delicious barbecue fare.
