Beach Hut Deli offers the perfect medley: high-quality sandwiches delivered in an atmosphere conducive to San Diego’s laid-back vibe just steps from the Marriott and the world famous USS Midway.
With humble beginnings in Northern California, Troy Feist opened a video arcade at the age of 18, where he started making sandwiches so his friends would not go hungry. The little deli has since expanded over the years with locations from Reno to Newport Beach. San Diego finally has the pleasure of welcoming this establishment to its sun-drenched shores.
The restaurant has a full liquor license and will be working with San Diego born and raised coffee company, Ryan’s Brothers; to accommodate those with the need for a caffeine pick-me-up. Each location of Beach Hut Deli is unique, focusing on the culture and local brewing scene of their city—each venue manages to maintain that warm, cozy feeling that made the original restaurant so popular. Think of it as an extension of home where everyone is made to feel welcome. Whether you’re in Northern or Southern California, you can expect to find good food, great music and delicious craft beer at Beach Hut Deli. What more could you ask for?

Tyler Holland is a Southern California native, born in Los Angeles and spent his younger years between Los Angeles and Orange County. He has lived in several states and spent his High School years in British Columbia, Canada. He attended San Francisco State University to get his degree in International Relations before returning to Orange County. Tyler loves to explore the world around him and is always eager to seek out new experiences.
