Palm Springs real estate is getting a flipping great makeover thanks to Eric and Lindsey Bennett, home flipping powerhouse couple with small town charm. The couple has turned their love of flipping real estate into a home renovation show, “Desert Flippers.” Connecting over dreams to own, renovate and flip real estate, each half of the Wisconsin couple was in the middle of a remodeling project when they met. After just two months of dating, they completed their first investment flip and used the money earned to move across the country to sunny California. Along with their belongings they brought their love and love for flipping real estate.

Lindsey and her brother Mike (“Uncle Mike” as he’s known on “Desert Flippers”) vacationed in Palm Springs as kids and developed a love for the windmill-adjacent city. Lindsey learned all there is to know about real estate sales and design by assisting her cousins in the high-end luxury market. Eric is a Loan Officer, proficient in financing real estate as well as foreclosure and the distressed property market. Stemming from a line of successful real estate brokers, developers and commercial real estate owners in Wisconsin, it’s no wonder this couple has what it takes to make a successful home renovation show.

From capturing hearts on game shows, to inspiring the masses through commercials, to HGTV, this couple is not camera shy. After a commercial they filmed together, they were contacted by Glass Entertainment Group to make their own reel of their house flipping escapades. “It seemed like the best of both worlds,” says Lindsey, “working to flip properties and film together.” HGTV bought a full pilot episode and loved it so much they ordered a full season!

“Desert Flippers” takes viewers along for the ride as the Bennett family flips homes in Palm Springs. They battle desert perils from three-digit temperatures, to black widow spiders, to scorpions, to rodents, to fire ants. “The stakes can be high,” says Lindsey. “The market is volatile, but the profits can be great.” Palm Springs offers a wealth of variety for the Bennetts to flip. The couple remodels all kinds of houses in the desert – everything from midcentury modern to classic California ranch homes. Lindsey’s brother “Uncle Mike” is involved in the show, sometimes the voice of reason when it comes to certain aspects of house flipping.

Three kids into their marriage, Eric and Lindsey balance family and HGTV life. They enjoy working together as a family, capturing candid moments on film for eager viewers to enjoy. “So, here we are today,” says Lindsey. “Eric has his dream jobs financing, flipping and filming real estate and I’m blessed to be home with my kids in down time and working in real estate and filming with my family. I can’t imagine a job that would be much better than this.”
