The subject of employment has been a rather dismal topic these past few months, as millions of Americans have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, if you are a resident of Southern California, specifically the Greater Palm Springs region, we have some exciting news to share with you!
Residents from all around the Coachella Valley are invited to join Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City for their job fair on Monday, July 27, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mary Pickford Theater in Cathedral City. All you’ll need is an updated resume, samples of your work and an eagerness to contribute to the extraordinary Agua Caliente Casinos team.
As the state-of-the art casino prepares for their grand opening later this fall, they hope to fill over 500 positions in the next couple of months. These positions are in the following departments: slots, table games, food and beverage, environmental services, marketing, security, valet, facilities and much more! “We are thrilled to take the next step towards opening this amazing new casino and entertainment complex, offering over 500 residents in the Valley great-paying jobs,” says Michael J. Facenda, senior vice president and general manager of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. “Being part of the Agua Caliente Casinos family is such an honor, and we cannot wait to see our family grow…” Facenda adds.
Applicants must wear face-coverings and be prepared to have their temperature taken. The casino will be adhering to the 6-foot social distancing policy during the job fair, as directed by the CDC. The Mary Pickford Theater offers several separate spaces to help ensure applicants can keep a safe distance during the duration of the fair.
