Running daily through May 31st , Belmont in Bloom offers a way to experience a sundry of flower displays you can’t find anywhere else. Each display is handcrafted by both local florists and sculptors who have a keen eye for color patterns, quality and what flowers are in season. You can expect to see flowers of all types and colors alluding to the nodes of spring. From green towering floral arches to blush rose installations, Belmont in Bloom will make everyone say yes to flowers!
Strike a pose with one of the many photo stations packed around the park. First, you’ll need to find the iconic Belmont Park entry way decked out with petals and poppies–for your next shot. You’ll also have some fun finding all the murals in the park and snagging a picture in front of each one to post on your socials with the hashtag #belmontinbloom. From gigantic chess pieces laced with petals to groovy murals hanging above, finding picturesque places at Belmont Park is easy. So grab the family and let your photo dreams blossom!5/20
After riding Belmont Park’s famous Giant Dipper roller coaster, you might be in need of a short break. While Belmont in Bloom might be swarming with calla lilies and a super fun coaster, it is also a place where you can support the local art community—expect live art performances and community “give back” events! Sit back and listen to the tunes every Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.!
For those of us who would enjoy some booze with our blooms, be sure to check out the mobile bubble cart around the park where spritzers, bubbly and mimosas are available on the go. If you’d prefer something a little more snazzy, go ahead to one of Belmont Park’s boardwalk restaurants where you can order a floral-inspired cocktail garnished with real edible flowers. A portion of the proceeds from the “Daisy Duke” cocktail sold at Draft, Beach House and Cannonball will be donated to the Big Josh Foundation.5/29
