Pump up the playlist in Audi’s 3D advanced sound system as you make your way to the first stop. The Audi e-tron GT’s exterior sound can also be pumped up from subtle to sporty with adjustable acoustic elements. Make your way through Costa Mesa to where local archives intersect with contemporary trends for a walk-through of history at the Orange County’s Museum of Art. This innovative museum boasts cutting-edge artwork, from the building’s architecture itself to the treasures within. The museum’s sleek geometric design was dreamt up by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne. Inside, find rotating exhibits from influential voices in the art world. From now through August, view the “13 Women: Variation II” art gallery, which showcases the museum’s most successful female artists over the years.

Noon
Explore Noguchi Garden

After meandering through OCMA’s art, get a breath of fresh air at Noguchi Garden. Tucked between office buildings across from the museum, this serene sculpture garden is an outdoor oasis. The tranquil space features six works by sculpture artist Isamu Noguchi based on California elements: Forest Walk, Land Use, Desert Land, Water Source, Water Use and Energy Fountain. From here, slide on into the Valcona leather 18-way individual contour front seats of your Audi e-tron and turn on heated massage functions as you coast up to Los Angeles for the night.

8 p.m.
See a Show at Walt Disney Concert Hall

(40 Miles from Noguchi Garden)

The musicians at Walt Disney Concert Hall are not the only attraction. The building itself is an internationally recognized landmark that embodies the visionary spirit of LA by juxtaposing harsh steel edges with free-flowing curveswhich the 2023 Audi e-tron can match with available exterior shades of sleek Typhoon Gray and metallic Florett Silver. Inside the concert hall, the audience is centered around the amber-lit organ and becomes enveloped in the orchestra’s harmony when the conductor lifts the baton. Shows begin almost every night at 8 p.m. Revel in the joyous Slavonic Dances of Mälkki Leads Dvořá March 23-25 or the triumphant sounds of Brahm’s First Symphony April 13-16.

10 p.m.
Stay the Night at DTLA Proper

(1.4 miles from Walt Disney Concert Hall)

DTLA Proper keeps the culture-fest alive with art deco-inspired accommodations. Valet your Audi and check into this vintage Moroccan-inspired hotel! The arched-hallway entrance transports you to a desert playground with potted cacti and whimsical wildlife wallpaper. Each room is layered with warm colors, geometric patterns and smooth textures for an elevated design and welcoming touch. Before embarking on another day of culture, sneak up to the Proper’s rooftop pool. The city’s skyline paints a picturesque backdrop!

Local Insight: Not that you need it because Audi e-trons last over 200 miles on a single charge, but The Proper in downtown LA has electric vehicle charging stations. Just tell the valet, and they will park and plug in your vehicle for you!

SUNDAY

10 a.m.
Visit Grand Central Market

(1.1 Miles from DTLA Proper)

One of the best ways to experience culture is through food. Taste your way through global cuisines with brunch at Grand Central Market in LA! This foodie emporium off Broadway boasts Los Angeles’ most innovative eateries. From Berlin currywurst to mom-and-pop Korean doshirak (lunchboxes) and next-level all-American PB&Js, there’s no shortage of new foods to delight in. Don’t worry about parallel parking because Audi-e trons are equipped with a top-view camera system for complete surrounding visuals; the Audi Q7 even boasts remote park assist. Before leaving the market, pick up snacks to stock in your Audi at Torres Produce or something on the sweeter side from La Huerta Candy.

1 p.m.
Head Down to Olvera Street

(0.8 miles from Grand Central Market)

Contrasting the next-generation feel of Audi e-tron models, Olvera Street has a much more historic feel to it. Coined “the birthplace of Los Angeles,” Olvera Street is representative of Old LA. Spend the afternoon amidst street vendors and museums to catch a glimpse of early California! Mariachi music floats through the air (as does the smell of homemade tortillas) while folkloric dancers perform in the streets with colorful twirling skirts. These vendors don’t stray too far from the Mexican merchants who first set up shop around these parts with handcrafted pottery, leather wallets and souvenirs.

Finish your staycation with one last stop at the iconic Hauser and Wirth Gallery. With established international influence, Los Angeles warmly welcomed Hauser and Wirth into a former flour mill in downtown LA. Hauser and Wirth’s global-sourced gallery features works from Hungarian artist Rita Ackermann and Chinese painter Zeng Fanzhi. Everything is curated to spark conversations around education and sustainability—even the outdoor garden is a recognized wildlife habitat, and the onsite restaurant, Manuela, services farm-to-table cuisine from southern California producers.
