The Cellar

You’ll have to venture into a “basement” for this one. The Cellar is a true hidden gem of Fullerton, located below the historic Villa Del Sol and designed by the same craftsman who created the wondrous Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. The venue itself is worth the visit, but the dining experience will blow you away. Balancing European elegance from the restaurant’s inception in 1969 and modern innovation, the menu features staples like filet mignon, escargot and truffle macaroni and cheese.

Tempo Urban Kitchen may be just the place if you like your food and drinks with a bit of spice. One of the many Mr. Tempo restaurants in SoCal, Tempo Urban Kitchen features modern Mexican cuisine with a little extra pizazz. Take, for example, their margarita flight that comes with a sparkler, hot Cheetos roll or deconstructed quesadilla. When you walk in and are greeted by their tequila and whiskey table, you know it’s going to be a fun time!

Chef Vic’s Chilaquiles Verdes and Frank’s Country Chicken and Waffle are just a few of their signature dishes sure to delight even the not-so “early birds.”
